6-week commercial sprint

Boardroom Alignment Sprint

This practical 6-week commercial sprint is designed for Learning Leaders who want to become more credible and confident in senior business conversations.

Through a half-day working lab, four weeks of workplace application and a live online follow-up clinic, you will work on a real business priority and learn to connect learning to business growth, efficiency or risk.

You will leave with a clearer commercial case, stronger boardroom language and practical tools to influence senior stakeholders with confidence.

By the end of the programme, you will be able to:

  • Link an L&D priority clearly to business strategy and commercial outcomes.
  • Diagnose whether learning is the right response to a business challenge.
  • Build a credible commercial case using evidence and the Cost of Inaction (COI).
  • Present a concise, boardroom-ready proposition and clear decision ask.
  • Handle senior-stakeholder challenges with greater confidence.

Hear from some of our members and previous delegates

"The topics covered have nearly all been aligned with the journey IMI is on in engaging with, and investing in, L&D as a key lever of the 'people, and business' strategy. I've taken so many practical things away that I've implemented."

Claire Kennady

"One of the biggest benefits of the CLO community and the learning leaders programme especially, is meeting and working with peers. Being able to share challenges and bounce ideas around is so valuable."
