TWitCh announces their new album “voidstate” will release on Bandcamp September 30/2025.

Here’s what Shayne had to say about the album:

Voidstate is an exploration of dreams, spirit, and the quiet architecture of the mind. These songs were born in that thin space between sleep and waking — where symbols gather, fears and wishes rearrange themselves, and something like meaning takes shape. The album title comes from a meditation practice: a deliberate entry into a mental “zero” where the self loosens and new things can be imagined into being. Here, the void is not empty — it’s a workspace.

I’d slipped into that same felt state years before I knew the name for it. Around 2001–02 I found myself in that zeroed-out headspace without knowing why; it wasn’t until 2024, after watching a single YouTube explanation of void-state meditation, that the pattern finally clicked. That late recognition didn’t change the experiences — it only gave them a language.

Dreams have been my map since I was twelve. I’ve always remembered them, carried them, and searched for the feelings beneath them. Not every dream holds a deeper meaning, but most of them ask for attention: an honest look at what’s stirring under the surface. Voidstate is the soundtrack to that looking — equal parts curiosity, ritual, and the stubborn optimism that what we meet in the dark can be turned into something real.
