cows = ???

Sold some old cows and they went better then I thought...........so with the extra money I went shopping...............

What do you think????? Did I spend my money well.............

Still have the old girl but she is making funny noises so I thought while I have the chance why not upgrade.............and upgrade I did in a big way..............lucky this Janome 6600 is on a good special at the moment...........think this is the start of a very good relationship..............maybe love/hate sometimes but generally very good.............

she has lots more features then my old girl.............OMG she goes fast too..............

I was so excited on Saturday I could hardly sew as I couldn't decide what to do first............so many ideas/projects running around in my head I played with the letters/alphabet instead...........

the big question...........

Finally a post that involves fabric (just)................this question has come about while having a discussion with my friend (who shall remain nameless while she is unpicking seams) we discovered she didn't have a 1/4 inch foot................she doesn't do lots of block piecing but she has done a bit................

(there is a black guide on the right of the foot - bit hard to see sorry)

then I was cruising blogland and saw another blogger say she didn't have a 1/4 inch foot...............I just assumed everyone had a 1/4 inch foot...............but maybe not...........

Ruffling.............

A few commenters asking questions lately have ben no reply so I cannot directly answer your question.........but if you see this the fabric on the skirt with the ruffles is from A Day in the Country Emperiors garden........some other fabrics in the range are available here.........

I had a few comments on my ruffling foot............here it is and I did a
strip with the 3 widths of ruffles you can do..........I love it so quick
and fun.........

Fairy Girl's Christmas haul.........

Here are all the goodies Fairy Girl received from Tink (Tracey K's daughter) doll quilt and pillow.......a bag, 2 fairy books and some cards...........lucky girl.....she was so excited about this parcel and I am sure she will want to do another swap........

But here is the big news...............Fairy girl got a sewing machine for Christmas..........yes very spoilt........therefore she got some other sewing bits and peices from some family..........unfortunately I have not felt well enough to plug it in and give it a run but tomorrow we will get to that...........I will move further then the lounge...........
