She had slept unacceptably late after the night of frivolity and nonsense and surprisingly lovely romance that had encompassed Bellatrix's wedding to the Lestrange boy. One may have thought she was exhausted from the dancing and laughing and drinking, but Andromeda had spent most the night picking up fallen napkins and chatting with cousins.

After dressing, Andromeda came down from her room and entered the breakfast nook where some food was still left by the house-elves. She took a plate to her typical seat and ate slowly, feeling rather alone without Bellatrix next to her.

The Noble and Most Ancient House of Black has always been kind to Andromeda. While her sister, Bellatrix, was always "Daddy's", her mother, Druella, labeled her second daughter as "hers" and has raised Andromeda in a feminine, respectful manner. Bellatrix stayed close to Andromeda, particularly she joined the Slytherin House. In the way that Bellatrix looked after Andromeda, Andromeda looked after Narcissa. The three sisters remain connected after so many years, although they've had their differences, and of late, Andromeda has been continuously annoyed with her younger sister.

While the rest of her family has been disgusted by her cousin Sirius's decisions, Andromeda has always admired him, and started to second guess her prejudices. She has shared these thoughts with one other person, her mother, who has sworn to love Andromeda no matter what, although she encourages Andromeda to stay loyal to the line, afraid of her her father, Cygnus, will do in consequence.

Because her father was so consumed with Bella, it left Andromeda close with Druella. Her mother, with all of her femininity, passed along these traits to Andromeda, who has grown to be a bit more feminine than her older sister. For example, she would most likely make a better hostess, keep a cleaner house (if she were to, for whatever HORRID reason, lose the privilege of a house-elf), and be a better mother. She is inheriently motherly, treating Narcissa more like a child than a sister. Because of the immense femininity exposed to her, she took refuge with her cousins, Sirius and Regulus, when she wanted a bit of fun.

After Sirius was blasted off the wall, she began looking at her life and the customs of her family in a new light. She doesn't understand how any parent could disown their own child; she feels less committed to being part of a family who could betray her at any moment, should she say or do the wrong thing.

Positive Traits: Like the other Black sisters, Andromeda truly believed she was above most--that is, until recently. Her open-mind includes being open to the acceptance of Muggleborns into the respected houses. She is charismatic, with a strong sense of leadership and inherited power. She is kinder than her sisters, although she may not act like it when Bellatrix is around. Though most Leo's can be too stubborn to change their minds, Andromeda has matured enough to see other people's sides to stories.

Negative Traits: Andromeda can be extremely selfish and snobby, and feel a sense of superiority. She can even feel so dominant that she resorts to bullying to get what she wants. Currently, she has learned of this trait and is working extremely hard to put an end to it.
