What a night celebrating the beauty, complexity and uniqueness of #ArtisticSwimming ✨ In the opening day of the World Junior Championships taking place in #Budapest, #Hungary, we were delighted to welcome guests at our office for a special evening dedicated to discovering what truly lies behind the elegance and glamour of this incredible sport. Through live make-up demonstrations, storytelling and interactive experiences, we explored the many elements that come together in every performance: athleticism, choreography, endurance, music, fashion, precision and technical excellence. It wa great opportunity to experience artistic swimming from a different perspective. Congratulations to Carmel High School, winner of the 2025-26 MaxPreps Cup, recognizing the nation’s top overall high school sports program! 👏 This brings back great memories from the #Swimming World Cup 2025, hosted at Carmel’s outstanding facility, where some of the best swimmers on the planet put on a show, including Gretchen Walsh, who set a new World Record in the Women's 50m Butterfly 🌎 No doubt many young students were inspired by these incredible performances as they continue their own journeys in both education and sport. 👏 The #WorldAquatics Foundation has formally presented its Environmental Award to the City of Paris, recognising the city's landmark project to restore the Seine for public swimming after a century-long prohibition. The award was presented by World Aquatics President Captain Husain Al Musallam, alongside the Chairman of the World Aquatics Foundation Dale Neuburger and in the presence of European Aquatics President Antonio Silva at a ceremony held at the Site de baignade de Bras-Marie, one of the three public swimming facilities along the Seine. Today, on World Drowning Prevention Day, the World Aquatics Foundation is proud to announce the launch of the World Aquatics Foundation Drowning Prevention Award, a new initiative recognising individuals and organisations making an outstanding contribution to preventing drowning around the world.
