For many living with diabetes, the night is the most vulnerable time. Monitoring tells us where glucose levels are now — but it doesn’t always show where they are headed. This uncertainty often creates a mental burden that remains long after the lights go out. Real-world evidence published in Diabetes Research and Clinical Practice has shown that proactive management instead of reactive monitoring results in a 31% reduction in the odds of severe nighttime lows.* Explore the science: https://lnkd.in/dTk9SDcS #DiabetesCare #DigitalHealth #NightLowPredict #Innovation #Roche * Diabetes Research and Clinical Practice (2026)

我們將持續與在地夥伴緊密攜手,將今天的對話,轉化為明天真正改變生命的影響力!💪 Health shouldn't only come into focus when illness strikes, and the voices of young people shouldn't only be heard after they become patients. 🗣️ Yesterday, the Roche Pharma Taiwan team joined the "2026 Youth Health Forum" hosted by the Taiwan Young Patient Association (TYPA). Alongside partners from across the healthcare ecosystem, we explored the unique health challenges facing the younger generation and discussed how to build a more inclusive, accessible, and resilient health environment. At Roche, we fundamentally believe that investing in health is never just a medical expense—it is the most critical investment we can make in our society, our economy, and our collective future. 📈 To honor this commitment, Roche Pharma Taiwan is honored to have championed the "Healthy Taiwan Friendly Workplace Initiative" for five consecutive years. We know that building a truly supportive environment requires proactive listening, cross-sector collaboration, and concrete action. 🏢✨ For us, driving medical innovation goes far beyond developing novel therapies in the lab; it requires a deep understanding of the patient journey. We are dedicated to breaking down access barriers to ensure that life-changing innovations are not only discovered, but actually delivered to those who need them most. 🤝 Youth are not just our future; they are our present. A huge thank you to TYPA for creating this invaluable platform for dialogue. We will continue to partner closely with the local community, turning today’s conversations into tomorrow’s life-changing impact!

At this year’s Opinion Festival in Paide, Estonia, the Roche’s team hosted a discussion titled “Where Are Working-Age Employees Disappearing To?”, focusing on how innovation, support systems and cooperation can help people with serious or chronic illnesses remain in work or return safely. Across the Baltics, we face the same challenge: our populations are aging, the working-age population is shrinking, and pressure on healthcare budgets is increasing. At the same time, our economies need people to stay active and productive for longer. Yet medical innovation and new, effective treatments often reach patients in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania more slowly than in many other European countries. This makes it increasingly important to look at healthcare not only as a cost, but also as an investment in people, participation and economic resilience. The discussion highlighted: 💡A serious or chronic diagnosis does not automatically mean leaving working life. Capacity to work can change throughout treatment, so part-time work, flexible arrangements and gradual return should be possible. 💡Solutions need to be individual. The right balance between treatment and work should be found through cooperation between the patient, healthcare professionals and the employer. 💡The value of treatment should be considered more broadly than its direct cost. If an effective treatment helps someone recover faster, maintain a better quality of life or return to work sooner, its impact reaches far beyond the healthcare budget. 💡Responsibility cannot rest with the patient alone. Employers, healthcare professionals and the state all have a role in making the journey back to work easier and more coordinate. 💡Prevention, early diagnosis, timely access to treatment and maintaining people’s ability to work are not separate challenges. They are part of the same picture. We cannot stop our societies from ageing. But we can influence how long and how well people are able to live, work and contribute despite health challenges. 👍 👏 Thank you Maiu Maasi, Tuuli Seinberg, Maivi Parv, Rille Pihlak and the moderator Keret Einaste! And thank you to Opinion Festival for fostering and advancing a culture of open discussion.

In recognition of Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) Awareness Month, we’re passing the mic to people with SMA. In the first episode of their podcast, they share who they are, their experiences, and the conversations that inspired them to speak openly about life with SMA. It’s a reminder that while SMA is part of their stories, it does not define them. Listen to the first episode and join the conversation: https://spkl.io/60477zU4c #SMAAwarenessMonth #SMAMyWay

#WorldLungCancerDay #HealthcarePartnerships #RocheUkraine #OncologyCare
