  • 🇩🇪 Berlin's iconic Hotel Palace Berlin set to join Hyatt Regency brand Hotel Palace Berlin has been a fixture of the city's hospitality landscape for nearly six decades, earning a reputation for exceptional meetings and events, acclaimed dining and independent hospitality in the heart of City West. The hotel will undergo a phased renovation and is expected to start it's next chapter as Hyatt Regency Palace Berlin in early 2027, featuring thoughtfully redesigned guestrooms, a reimagined Regency Club, the renowned beef45 restaurant, a spa and pool, and more than 2,600 square metres of meeting and event space accommodating up to 900 guests. The signing further strengthens Hyatt's presence in Berlin, joining Grand Hyatt Berlin, Me and All Hotel Berlin East Side, Lindner Hotel Berlin Ku'damm, part of JdV by Hyatt, and five Mr & Mrs Smith hotels. It will also become the fourth Hyatt Regency hotel in Germany, reinforcing the brand's role in key gateway cities across Europe. Our thanks to the Hotel Palace Berlin ownership and General Manager Michael Frenzel for their trust and collaboration. We look forward to welcoming Hyatt Regency Palace Berlin to the Hyatt family. #InAHyattWorld #HotelDevelopment Gabriela Bašovska

  • What defines luxury today? Increasingly, there is no single answer. Research from Skift and McKinsey & Company suggests luxury travelers are placing greater value on experiences that connect them more deeply with the destinations they visit. They are also seeking greater balance, with wellbeing becoming part of the entire journey rather than a standalone amenity. For hospitality companies, that means evolving with travelers while preserving what makes each brand distinctive. Across Hyatt’s Luxury Portfolio in EAME, we are doing both: building on the strength of established hotels, investing in their next chapter and offering different expressions of luxury for different traveler expectations. For Park Hyatt, that means building on the enduring strength of hotels such as Park Hyatt Vienna and Park Hyatt Paris Vendôme, while investing in the next chapter of Park Hyatt Zurichh and Park Hyatt Dubai through thoughtful renovations that preserve what makes each hotel iconic while evolving the experience for today’s luxury traveler. As The Unbound Collection by Hyatt marks its 10th anniversary, hotels including Great Scotland Yard Hotel London- The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, Hôtel du Louvre and the recently opened Hôtel Palais de la Méditerranée demonstrate what makes the brand distinctive: one-of-a-kind properties whose history, architecture and local culture shape the guest experience. At Alila Jabal Akhdar, luxury is expressed through a close connection to Oman’s Al Hajar Mountains, local traditions and moments that invite guests to slow down. And at Miraval The Red Sea, the brand’s first resort outside the United States, wellbeing shapes the entire stay, from design and dining to programming and how guests choose to spend their time. "Luxury has always been personal, but I think it's becoming even more so. The hotels people remember are the ones that make them feel something, whether that's a deeper connection to the people and culture, time to properly switch off, or simply feeling genuinely understood. That's what excites me about our portfolio across EAME. Every brand has its own personality, and every guest can find an experience that feels right for them” — Tamara Lohan MBE, Global Brand Leader, Luxury

  • Hyatt continued its strong momentum in Q2, reflecting the continued strength of Hyatt's differentiated portfolio and the deep engagement of our high-value guests around the world. Comparable system-wide RevPAR grew +5.9% globally, supported by resilient demand across leisure, business and group travel. Europe continued to perform well, with RevPAR up +4.5%, reflecting healthy domestic leisure demand and solid commercial performance despite ongoing geopolitical headwinds. The quarter also highlighted the continued strength of Hyatt's commercial platform. World of Hyatt reached 69 million members globally, a 17% increase year over year, while Hyatt's development pipeline grew to a record 154,000 rooms, up 10% from last year. Together, these milestones reflect growing guest loyalty, owner confidence and developer preference for Hyatt's brands. Across Europe, Africa and the Middle East, Hyatt remains focused on thoughtful long-term growth. While parts of the Middle East continue to face challenging market conditions, the region remains strategically important, with Saudi Arabia continuing to play a significant role in Hyatt's future expansion, reflected by the milestone opening of Miraval The Red Sea, the first Miraval property outside the United States.
