TO PROVIDE FACILITATOR SERVICES FOR THE CHESAPEAKE CONSERVATION AND CLIMATE CORPS PROGRAM – FINANCIAL LITERACY SERIES

The Chesapeake Conservation and Climate Corps Program (https://cbtrust.org/chesapeake-climate-corps/) is one of the Trust’s flagship programs which promotes and protects the environment by providing young adults with opportunities to gain career skills and become more engaged through meaningful community service. The Corps is a one-year term of stipend-supported service that places young adults (ages 18-25) with nonprofits or government agencies to serve full-time in the environmental field. Throughout the year this program provides young professionals with experience, leadership and professional development training, mentorship, and a support network of young environmentalists. Positions offered by host organizations are in the fields of environmental restoration, climate change, community engagement, environmental education, sustainable agriculture, energy conservation, and forestry.

The purpose of this Request for Proposals is to identify a qualified contractor to develop and deliver a series of in-person and virtual Financial Literacy trainings for Chesapeake Conservation and Climate Corps Members.

The Corps is a one-year term of stipend-supported service that places young adults (ages 18-25) with nonprofits or government agencies to serve full-time in the environmental field. Throughout the year this program provides young professionals with experience, leadership and professional development training, mentorship, and a support network of young environmentalists. Positions offered by host organizations are in the fields of environmental restoration, climate change, community engagement, environmental education, sustainable agriculture, energy conservation, and forestry.

The purpose of this Request for Proposals is to identify a qualified contractor to develop and deliver a series of in-person and virtual professional trainings focused on emotional intelligence including a 3-day, 2-night Environmental Leadership Retreat.

Request for Qualifications for Tree-Planting Service Providers

The purpose of this Request for Qualification (“RFQ”) is to develop a list of qualified tree service providers that can support various technical aspects of a tree planting project in underserved urban areas with, e.g., (site identification, tree species selection, procurement, obtaining services, and managing contractors). Ultimately, the goal is to provide groups applying to the Chesapeake Bay Trust Urban Trees Grant Program with resources and support in a number of areas as related to their tree planting efforts.
