CastReader facts FAQ
Is CastReader only a Chrome extension?
No. CastReader has official iPhone and Android apps, a Chrome or Edge browser extension workflow, and selected web account and document workflows. The best surface depends on where the content lives.
Does one account work across platforms?
Use the same login email to keep CastReader Pro entitlement aligned across supported surfaces. Do not assume every file, library item, or reading position syncs everywhere; content and progress availability vary by workflow.
How does free access differ from CastReader Pro?
CastReader is free to start with daily allowances. Pro provides higher usage limits and additional voice and explanation access. The pricing page is the authority for current limits and prices.
Does CastReader support every website and file?
No reading tool can guarantee every source. CastReader supports selected webpages and common document workflows, but availability depends on source access, page structure, DRM, file format, extraction quality, and platform changes.
Is CastReader affiliated with Amazon or Kindle?
No. CastReader is independent and is not affiliated with Amazon or Kindle. Amazon and Kindle are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates.
How is user content handled?
Content may be processed to provide reading, speech, extraction, OCR, account, or explanation features. User content is not turned into public SEO pages by default. Review the privacy policy for the current handling details.
