Some updates

I am happy to share with you my little Cupcake Ella.  So fun to make, Ella is by Lalylala and is in Inside Crochet Issue 100.
And this photo is also in my phone.  I have done quite a bit more on this project since I took this pic earlier in the week...  this is Berries, Birds and Blooms by Blue Ribbon Designs.  Love this project.  The colors are gorgeous!
I have also continued to work on CrochetObjet's Four Seasons Chevron Blanket using my own Scheepjes Catona color conversion.   Am now past the halfway point, and also love the colors in this one.
And speaking of loving colors, I really love this one... completed the third installment of RedAgape's Casual Granny CAL.  This month I used SSDK in Lemon, not quite as pale cream as it appears here.  Looking forward to next month's surprise square.  Maybe some blue?

Caught up on my CALs

Am now all caught up for the Casual Granny CAL (redagape),
and the 2018 Moogly CAL.... not caught up with this month's Christmas ornament though.  Stitching done, hope to do the finishing today if I can find the perle cotton for it..  I know it is here somewhere...

A Satisfying Finish

My goodness, I found this in my post folder as a draft!  In the summer of 2016, I finished a very, very enjoyable CAL by Cypress Textiles.  This is my Vibrant Vintage Blanket.  I used her suggested colors of Stylecraft Special DK yarn, subbing Teal for her one other color that I could not get.  I used King Cole Top Value DK in a gray shade for the join and part of border.  I went lacy and used the Celtic Lace Join for mine.

Hello

Hello, after a few messages from old stitching blogging friends, I realized just how long I have been among the missing. I think I shall try a go at this again now. I have been stitching off and on, yet lately crochet has caught my attention. It is easier with my headaches and tinnitus, for sure. Less of a forward head posture, which causes me those symptoms to a greater degree. And I don't need to wear my cheaters for crochet either. I had two big finishes just this week...

Painted Roses Baby Blanket
Cherry Heart
Stylecraft Special DK in Duck Egg, Grass Green, Fondant, Candyfloss, Lobelia, Lavender, Wisteria, Clematis, Apricot, Citron and Aspen

And this very large afghan which was a CAL discovered on Facebook, and is called Around the Bases. For 16 weeks (mid August to this past Sunday), I would awake and open a blog for the week'S directions. This one leaves tomorrow to a friend... three more of these to finish off before the holidays... Now I am busily stitching my Christmas ornament gifts :-)
