SCOUTS

Every year the scouts do a pack meeting called cubonopollis. Everyone makes cars and they race around the gym. Rayce had a Jr Jazz basketball game so he wasn't able to go. It is a really fun night at scouts! 

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RIDGE

Ridge turned 7 years old. He's been so excited about his birthday and we've been counting down the days. His birthday was on a Wednesday. He got up early and opened his presents. Then off to school he went. I went to the school and did PE for his class then they had recess. After recess Ridge gave his class donuts and Capri suns. This is the treat he wanted to pass out! Then his teacher had him sit in the middle of the room and the class asked him questions... Favorite animal... His horse. Favorite color... Red, Black, and Blue. Favorite thing to play.., farm. Favorite number .... 7. Then after school we invited the family over to swim at the recreation center in Vernal. It was a really fun and great day for Ridge! Ridge is a very energetic child. He goes 100 MPH everywhere he goes. He loves to help on the farm and has a great understanding of cows. He's a natural! He hates to clean up the house and will usually find an excuse when it's time to clean! Ridge loves to play with Range latley. You can always find those two together. Ridge is a HUGE help with everything you do (except clean). If you ask him to feed the animals, close gates, or give him a job outside, it will be done! Happy birthday Ridge. We love you!

OGDEN ROPING

It was a nice day on Saturday while we were at the roping. The boys played and played and played. They had so much fun together! They found apples on the ground and had wars, rode scooters, and just had a blast. Dusty hasn't roped in almost 10 years. He wasn't really sure if he even wanted to but with a little persuasion he did. He did very well. He roped over 20 calves and only missed 3. He ended up taking first place and won a saddle, a jacket, and over $2000.00. It ended up to be a really great weekend. Aunt Nancy even came and watched. We got to visit, which I love! 

HOTEL SWIMMING

Dirk invited Dusty to go to a roping on Friday. Nikki called me and said they were staying in a hotel and her boys wanted to swim with my boys! My boys love swimming so we stayed at the same hotel. The roping went late on Friday so they weren't able to swim. But Saturday we went before we went to the roping. The boys had do much fun. (Rayce stayed with Cam and Matie. He had basketball practice and a birthday party.) 

VETERANS PROGRAM

On Friday (which I think is weird they didn't do it on Veterans Day, like they have in years past, but I'm sure the Principal wouldn't allow that to happen!) the boys had a school Veterans program. It is one of my favorite programs they do. Each class sings a song then the whole school sings one together. Their final song was "Thank You Military". This song is one of my favorite songs. I was kind of far in the back so my pictures aren't really good. 

SHIPPING CALVES

It was a little cold the day we shipped our calves. We were in Colorado and Strayden and Ryder came over to help with their dad. The boys ended up spending a lot of time inside because it was so cold and wet. They didn't mind, they still had a fun day. 

RIDGE IS MAKING MONEY

Ridge set up shop to make some money. It was all his idea. He made a sign that showed his rates. He set up a blanket and pillow inside his bedroom. Then he had a chair and a cup outside his bedroom door to collect money. While he didn't have any customers he would wait outside his door for his next customer. It was so cute and he made a lot of money! 

CARVING PUMPKINS AT TRISHA'S

We all went to Trisha's house and carved pumpkins the night before Halloween. The boys love to carve pumpkins. 

HALLOWEEN 2014

My boys all were their favorite team for Halloween. The 5th grade was doing a spook alley so when Rayce first went to school he had to be a vampire for that. Then he changed into his bronco clothes. I was in charge of Rayces class party. I made scientist experiments that they had to guess what was inside the bowls. Then we played pin the nose on the Skelton and guess how many candy corn. The party was a lot of fun. After school there was a trunk or treat at the Neola Park and Trisha and her 2 girls  came up. After that we were going to go trick or treating to a few houses. We went to one house and decided that was enough. We came home for a little while then went to Ronnie and Jessica's for a while. 

CRAZY HAIR DAY

We aren't very creative around here. For Red Ribbon Week they has crazy hair day. I just combed the boys hair like normal then we spray painted it. This is as crazy as we get!
