STACKLAB was founded by designer Jeff Forrest in 2013. Through experimentation, research and theoretical insight, STACKLAB explores digital and physical processes to create contemporary narrative works. Borrowing from the technology sector, their process adheres to the concept of ‘stack’-based design -that is, applied critical thinking that leverages existing technologies, infrastructures, and the people behind them to innovate.

Comprised of over 90 percent non-virgin materials, the ECC Table System features two modular tables that can be configured into versatile compositions suited to both indoor and outdoor use. ECC resembles, but is more elastic and less brittle than, concrete, and ideal for the building of furniture.
