  • Please join us in congratulating Eric Plesman, Oxford President & CEO, on being named to the 2026 Commercial Observer Power Investors list. As part of his selection to the Power Investor list, Eric participated in a wide-ranging interview with Commercial Observer, sharing a number of views on the current market: • Real estate is recovering, but broad trends alone will not drive returns • This is a stock pickers market – you can’t just buy the index • Open-air retail, industrial, and high-quality office remain high conviction themes for Oxford Eric further spoke to the importance of combining deep sector expertise, operational capabilities, and disciplined investing to identify opportunities early and create long-term value. That philosophy continues to shape how Oxford invests across markets, sectors, and geographies. Thank you to Commercial Observer for this recognition which reflects both Eric's leadership and Oxford's commitment to driving value for our OMERS members, partners, and stakeholders. • At EY Tower, food, music, culture, and community came together and created an experience that brought people together and filled Richmond Adelaide Centre with indescribable energy. In partnership with the OMERS/Oxford Multicultural Alliance Employee Resource Group, this year’s International Festival, themed From Canada to the World, celebrated the cultures, traditions, and communities that shape Toronto. Through food sampling, live entertainment, and performances ranging from Japanese drumming and Brazilian capoeira to Caribbean masqueraders, and more, this event filled EY Tower’s lobby with connection, learning, and shared experience for all. By partnering with employee-led groups, we help shape programming that reflects the communities within our buildings and create meaningful experiences for customers and colleagues alike—bringing energy to the workplace and reinforcing our commitment to creating places where people feel welcome, represented, and connected. 📷 Captured by Tablizo Media

  • Our investment in MidCity Place continues to attract leading occupiers. A new long-term, 161,000 sq. ft. lease with Mishcon de Reya LLP brings the building to full occupancy as Oxford advances the asset’s ongoing £20 million refurbishment. This milestone reflects continued demand for high-quality, sustainable office space in prime locations and reinforces our conviction in the long-term outlook for office across Central London and beyond. As part of our comprehensive refurbishment and decarbonisation of MidCity, we are enhancing the workplace experience throughout the 350,000 sq ft building. The transformation includes a reimagined arrival experience, new social workspaces, a library, podcast studio, rooftop terrace, and courtyard, alongside sustainability upgrades — with the building now fully electric in operation and powered by renewable electricity. For Mishcon de Reya, one of London’s leading international law firms, MidCity Place is set to become its new global headquarters. For Oxford, it is another example of how active investment, strong locations, and a focus on occupier experience continue to attract leading organizations to our portfolio. • We’re proud to share that Fairmont Chateau Whistler and Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise have been named among the Best Resorts in Canada as part of Travel + Leisure Co.’s World’s Best Awards 2026. Of the five resorts recognized on this year’s list, Fairmont Chateau Whistler earned the #1 ranking, while Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise ranked #4. These rankings reflect the world-class experiences that continue to bring guests back year after year. From the mountain setting of Whistler to the shores of Lake Louise, both destinations are defined by unforgettable stays, a deep spirit of connection, and an unwaivering commitment to hospitality. This recognition would not be possible without the team behind the scenes, whose care, passion, and dedication help create truly special guest experiences, every day. Thank you to the teams at both properties, and to the guests who continue to make these destinations part of their Canadian journeys, celebrations, and memories. • This summer, our Oxford assets are becoming gathering places for the global game. Not just places to watch, but places to connect. Across our portfolio, our spaces are bringing infectious World Cup energy. • Yorkdale, Square One, and Scarborough Town Centre feature larger-than-life soccer ball activations, inviting visitors to step in, capture the moment, and be part of the experience. • At Hudson Yards New York, the game plays out on the big screen, turning the public realm into a match-day destination. • In Berlin, Das Center uses Berlin's largest LED screen to bring fans together, cultivating a matchday atmosphere. We're creating spaces where our communities can come together, take part, and feel connected to something bigger.

  • Last week, Scarborough Town Centre was recognized with the 2026 BOMA International TOBY Award in the “Retail – Enclosed Over 1 Million Sq. Ft.” category. The TOBY Awards are among commercial real estate’s most important honours, recognizing excellence in building management, operations, tenant experience, and overall asset performance. This recognition reflects the strength of the Scarborough Town Centre team and the disciplined approach they bring to operations, consistently delivering high-quality experiences for retailers, customers, and the community at large. Join us in congratulating the team behind this outstanding achievement.

  • Oxford President & CEO, Eric Plesman, recently joined the MIT Center for Real Estate’s “Meet the Visionaries” podcast to share his perspective on today’s market environment. Throughout the conversation – one theme stood out: in a market that continues to evolve, Oxford’s focus remains consistent. As a long-term investor, our decisions are shaped by a disciplined view of value, the performance of our assets and the strength of our partnerships. This lens continues to guide how we invest, how we develop and where we see opportunity, from high-quality office assets to large-scale, future focused developments. Behind our pension promise is a team that chooses to show up with purpose. At OMERS and Oxford Properties Group, we are united by a commitment for the 665,000 members who rely on us across the province. Employee Appreciation Week is a moment to recognize those who sit behind the work. Across our global offices, we came together to give back to our local communities and make time to connect. From writing cards for isolated seniors in Amsterdam and packing hygiene kits in Toronto, to beautifying community spaces in Sydney and New York. It’s moments like these that shape our purpose-driven, people-first culture that underpins everything we do.
