An emerging graphite system in Québec’s Matawinie district with clear mine-scale potential. The comparison below is difficult to ignore. The NQC Graphite Project was previously part of the broader land package assembled by NYSE: NMG (Nouveau Monde Graphite) during the early stages of discovery in the Matawinie district. The Strange Lake deposit to the north (278 Mt @ 0.93% TREO Indicated; 214 Mt @ 0.85% TREO Inferred) and the adjacent Crater Lake deposit (16.3 Mt @ 277.9 g/t Sc₂O₃ Indicated; 20.9 Mt @ 271.7 g/t Sc₂O₃ Inferred, with associated rare earth elements) confirm the scale of this rare earth district. Yet much of the broader system remains largely unexplored. Early exploration by Quest Rare Minerals across the Misery Project area in northern Québec identified a district-scale rare earth system associated with three circular magnetic anomalies within the Mistastin Batholith. The main anomaly hosts the Crater Lake deposit, while the broader system extends across a large, underexplored portion of the district. Previous Exploration Demonstrates System Potential Across the broader system and our property: • 536 surface rock samples collected • 132 samples returned >1% TREO • 20 samples returned >3% TREO • Samples returned up to ~23.8% TREO • Geological mapping, trenching, and channel sampling completed • 7 drill holes totaling 1,064.5 metres Importantly, much of this work focused on the Crater Lake discovery, leaving the broader system significantly underexplored.
