Last Thursday, we had the pleasure of bringing together our growing business community for the Ireland Canada Chamber of Commerce Toronto Corporate Member Appreciation Evening, hosted at Aird & Berlis LLP in the heart of Toronto. The evening was about one thing above all: our members. From longstanding supporters to the many new organisations that have joined our community, it was an opportunity to hear directly from the people and businesses behind the Chamber, learn more about the work they are leading, and create new connections across the Ireland–Canada business corridor. Without the continued support and engagement of our Corporate Members, much of what we do as a Chamber simply would not be possible. Our President, Paul Hutchinson, also reflected on the opportunities ahead as Ireland prepares to assume the rotating Presidency of the Council of the European Union in the second half of 2026, and the potential this creates to further strengthen Ireland’s position as a gateway to Europe for Canadian businesses, investors, and organisations. Originally from County Cavan and now based in Toronto, Rinn is a seasoned business development and communications professional with over a decade of global experience spanning emerging tech, strategic partnerships, and international growth. Since joining the ICCCTO as an active volunteer in 2023, she has been a driving force behind initiatives that strengthen cross-border ties.
