Thank you for the visit and thoughtful discussion. It was a pleasure to showcase our Elk Lake Division and the dedicated people behind the operation. We look forward to continuing conversations about supporting strong communities, a competitive forest sector, and sustainable economic growth in Ontario.
It was a pleasure to tour the Interfor Elk Lake mill with the company’s management team including COO Andrew Horahan, VP Svetlana Kayumova and with FPAC / CWC President Derek Nighbor. The mill plays an important role in our regional economy. Interfor est l’une des plus grandes entreprises de produits forestiers en Amérique du Nord. Ses opérations sont importantes à la circonscription de Nipissing Timiskaming. #Interfor #svetlanakayumova #fpac #NipissingTimiskaming #CDNgov

This Fourth of July marks 250 years of American independence, a moment to celebrate the people, industries, and resources that built a nation. From coast to coast, forests have long provided the materials that shaped homes, infrastructure, and communities. Photos like this one, capturing early industry vendors and events, are a reminder of how far the forest sector has come and the people who helped drive it forward. Today, we are proud to be part of an industry that continues to support growth, sustainability, and opportunity for generations to come.🌲 #Interfor

This Canada Day, we're taking a moment to look back with pride at the Canadian roots that built who we are today. Long before today's operations, sternwheelers like this one glided through shallow waters — moving timber across the lakes and rivers of beautiful British Columbia at what is now our Adams Lake Division. With skilled crews, true grit, and a whole lot of ingenuity, they kept our country's forest industry moving forward. Here's to the land, the people, and the legacy that shaped us, and to the bright future we're building together. Happy Canada Day!🍁 #Interfor

Since 2023, our Bathurst Division has brought teams together for an annual Safety Week filled with hands-on activities, training, and friendly challenges. Recently, the team dove into everything from quizzes to real-world scenarios. It is a shared commitment to looking out for one another that keeps our workplace safe. Wrapping up the week with a BBQ is the perfect way to connect, reflect, and celebrate a job well done. #Interfor

We’re proud to build strong relationships with Indigenous Peoples, grounded in respect and partnership, as a core part of our sustainability journey. This year, we signed 29 new Indigenous partnership agreements and transferred more than 300,000 cubic meters of tenure to Indigenous ownership. We also provided $35.5M in funding and financing to Indigenous communities over the past two years. These partnerships support shared economic opportunities and long-term collaboration across the regions where we operate. We are grateful for the relationships we continue to build and look forward to deepening this work together. Join us in celebrating Juneteenth, a day commemorating the end of slavery in the United States and honoring the resilience and strength of Black communities. This day provides an important opportunity to reflect on this history, acknowledge the lasting impacts of systemic inequality, and celebrate the culture and contributions of Black communities. It also encourages us to continue learning, listening, and taking meaningful steps toward equity and inclusion in our workplaces and communities. #Interfor #Juneteenth

Our 2025 Sustainability Report showcases the scale of our environmental stewardship and climate contributions. In 2025, we sustainably managed more than 4 million hectares of forest, planted 20.1 million trees, and created 40 acres of pollinator habitat in the U.S. South. Across our operations, 77% of our energy comes from renewable sources, 10,000+ tonnes of waste were recycled, and our products stored 5.4 million tonnes of carbon. We are proud to advance renewable wood products as part of the climate solution.
