Today, Belgium celebrates its National Day. We may be a small country, but we are a great one too. The country of the Red Devils, Stromae, Angèle, and Jacques Brel. Of chocolate (yes, Switzerland, yes.), waffles, verse fritjes, and beers. Of Luc Tuymans, Eddy Merckx, Tintin, Audrey Hepburn, and René Magritte. A country that punches above its weight, every single time. And beyond its borders, Belgium knows how to make its mark. We may not always be the loudest in the room, but we have every reason to be proud. Belgian companies, researchers, entrepreneurs, and professionals are present on every continent. Contributing, innovating, and building meaningful connections wherever they land. Canada is no exception. Here, the Belgian community is active, engaged, and proud. Another year, another Annual General Meeting in the books. The BCBC community gathered in Toronto to look back at the year that was and look ahead at what is coming next. Numbers, highlights, strategy, all laid out, all shared openly with our members and community.
