Butterfly Blessings

Because I feel blessed that I won some Fred She Said images I wanted to use one of the sets to say thanks to Tracey Lynn for sponsoring Crafty Sentiments so that I could win!  It has been a while since I've played with a FSS image, not as long as it has been since I was on the Design Team for them, but...it's been a little bit.  No clue why, I love the FSS pre-colored goodies!

For this card I used the Water Colored Scan Doodled w/butterflies col set.  Love the papers that come with this set and the selection of pre-colored butterflies that match the papers so well! I did the "peek-a-boo" style using the two papers.  The sentiment is a die cut from my Kaisercraft Decorative Dies Comfort Pack.  I added some gems and stickles to the fussy cut out butterfly then added a bow to the card as my final step.

Sorry Fur Your Loss

One of my old co-workers has to put her dog down next week, this card was made for her.  I'm not 100% in love with it, mostly because of the colors.  I like red and black, but I'm not sure if this is fitting for a sympathy card or not...  Opinions?  Maybe if I go with more of a pastel instead of red?

Pretty much this entire card was made using dies and/or punches.  The fold was cut using a die, the circles were cut using dies, the dog is a die, the paw print edge is a punch.  I also used a paw print embossing folder.  The only accessory added was the bow on the dogs neck and the bow on the card itself.  I drew the stitching around the two circles using a black gel pen.

So So Cute

This fortnight over at Incy Wincy Designs the challenge theme is So So Cute.  We are being sponsored by All Dressed Up and Just ME digis.  I used an All Dressed Up image (freebie) called Cute Just Got Cuter.  I have been using a lot of blues lately, and this card is no exception.  I added blue gems, a blue button and blue papers.  I colored the image using chalks.

Lovely Butterflies

Today, being Easter, I wanted to make something spring and pretty, so I used this fab image from Delicious Doodles called Beautiful Blossom while keeping with their challenge this month of Ribbon and flowers.  I used this weeks sketch from Allsorts Challenge Blog.  I added ribbon, lace, butterfly dies, oval dies, flowers, two DPs and I used an embossing folder.

Kangaroo Slider Card

I have been having a blast with this slider card idea!  I've gone from the simple "pull from this ribbon" to now just pull and see...LOL  For this one I used a fun Kangaroo image from QKR Stampede called Spring Breeze.  I obviously lengthened the kite string.  I added a bow, a rose, a die cut tree, and a length of "grass".  I apologize for the poor image quality on the video, but I did want to show how it looks when it slides.  I wish I had done that with my sister's Thank you card (not yet posted)...

Wedding Day

My boyfriend told me we were going to a wedding today (about a week ago) for a couple I didn't know.  This morning, about an hour before we had to leave he says "Oh, I didn't even think about a gift or a card or anything"...Uhh, Oops!  I said, well, I can try to throw a card together really quick like.  So I did.  I used this little bear couple I got from Whimsy Stamps a long time ago.  I colored them up with chalk and then added some gel pen accents.  I was in the mood to go with blues, so that is what I did...Low and behold, their wedding colors were blue and white!  Total luck on my part!  LOL

Fishing You A Happy Birthday

Today I made two fun slider cards.  One is girly girl the other is for a boys boy.  :) 

The boy slider card was made using a Kenny K image called Goldfish Kid.  I used a fun fence die, some oval dies and some frog punches.

My girly one was made using a Hello Kitty die, butterfly dies, word dies, gems and a flower.  This was the first one I made, and I learned I do not like having the sentiment on the outside since it gets covered, so for the boy card I put it inside.

Funny Parent Card

I'm making up for lost time.  It has been a long time since I've made anything, so, as you might be able to tell, I've been making and posting a few cards.
This one is a Bugaboo funny...This one is called Stella Calendar Months - May.  I used both Bugaboo challenge to make this card "Raining Cats & Dogs" and Stella's sketch challenge.  I kept it true to sketch for the most part, I also kept it very CAS; normally I think more 'outside the box' with sketchs, but I liked this one.  LOL  All I did was add some gems and use an embossing folder.
