I Can Explain

This week over at Incy Wincy Design Challenge, the theme is to use a non traditioanl image to create a Christmas creation.  The sponsor this week is Limited Runs.  I chose to play with this adorable guy Albert.  I kept my card relatively CAS by just using some texture, a few gems, some string, a tag and a tree die as decoration.  Albert was colored using pencil and then I added Glossy Accents to his glasses.

Thankful For You

Today I was in the mood to make something a little more special than what I've been making lately.  I saw a card made by Beth Brovold and had to CASE it.  I used an image from Bugaboo stamps called Edward-Fall Pumpkins.  I started by using a fun shaped card base (cut using some cookie cutter dies).  I used some red, brown, cream/print papers to cut some leaves using a leaf die set, some red burlap, some fun fall colored flowers, some cream string beads, and orange ribbon.  I colored the image using colored pencils only.  The sentiment is one of my own.

Building A Happy Birthday

Today I decided I wanted to make a fun guy birthday card...just for the heck of it.  I decided to use this fun image from QKR called Carpenter.  My original plan was to add some of the tiny houses that came with this fun travel sized Monopoly set I got today...but, I didn't like it for the card.  I used an embossing folder, a scrap of twine some square silver gems and a sentiment I created (That I'm sharing here).
