Ubo

Still recuperating from this nasty infection
Sore throat, paroxysmal cough.
This cough nags me at 3am,
nakakahiya sa kapitbahay.
Walang katapusang pagtahol.

Absent from work for 2 days,
1st time na nagabsent.
Buti na lang 3 days off afterwards.
Kaso di ko alam sked ko bukas.
Bahala na si batman.

Thank heavens at nakapagpahinga,
I needed a respite far away from
the drudgery of work.

Exhausted at uber stressed
physically and mentally.

Not to mention,
I am also applying elsewhere
at ang hirap magjuggle ng sked.

I had to cancel my interviews.
Sayang.
No choice, kaysa naman
umubo-ubo ako dun,
Kakahiya, salot lang ako kung nagkataon.
