Obama administration’s vendetta against Flynn, and the busybodies and bureaucrats whose policies destroyed trillions of dollars of wealth and put 30 million people out of work

In American Greatness, Roger Kimball writes in part,

...why did we commit social suicide for a virus whose hospitalization rates for those 65 years and older (as the CDC just admitted) are comparable to recent bad flu seasons, while the hospitalization for children for the Wuhan flu “are much lower than influenza hospitalization rates during recent influenza seasons”?

The second question is, what will our response be to the busybodies and bureaucrats whose policies destroyed trillions of dollars of wealth and put 30 million people out of work?

...Dr. Anthony Fauci seems to be riding high on a crest of public adulation. Look for that to come crashing down soon.

As Scott Johnson put it at PowerLine, Flynn and his lawyer, the redoubtable Sidney Powell, have “a steep hill to climb with Judge Sullivan.” Still, the public seems mesmerized by the case and several writers, preeminently Andy McCarthy, have been doing yeoman’s work laying out the shocking particulars of the Obama administration’s vendetta against Flynn.

But what he taught was immunity to pain. “The removal of all feeling of pain,” he wrote, “is the limit of the magnitude of pleasures.” There was a core of common sense about the Epicurean approach to life. He advised his followers to live simple, healthy lives, to shun extravagances of all sorts. Of course, that is something many philosophers, indeed many friends and parents, would also advise. There is nothing distinctively Epicurean about the injunction to live simply and soberly.

Gross Entrapment, or Treason?

Bookworm's take on Michael Flynn's entrapment by Comey and his cronies:

The politics of persecution. Mike Flynn did not do anything wrong. The FBI had a transcript of a perfectly legal phone conversation and, instead of honestly asking Flynn about what he said in the conversation, hid from him the fact that they had the transcript and instead asked him a series of questions intended to elicit answers that might conflict with the transcript. Despite this chicanery, which resulted in Flynn mis-remembering some of what he said, the FBI agents conceded that Flynn did not intentionally lie. Nevertheless, they used a process crime unrelated to a real crime to destroy him.

And how did they destroy Flynn? They bankrupted him. While the FBI and the DOJ have virtually unlimited budgets, individuals persecuted by the government have to pay for their lawyers. (I’ve seen this in real time in my career, as I’ve represented businesses caught in regulatory hell with the government.) After losing his family home, and then learning that Mueller intended to go after his family, Flynn caved, pleading guilty to a procedural crime that, in the ordinary world, a court would dismiss as grotesque entrapment.

So, how did the Flynn case turn out in Clinton-appointed Judge Sullivan's courtroom today? No prison time, right? Wait! No sentencing today to give time for Flynn to show how he can help Meuller!

Federal Bureau of Entrapment!

Andrew begins by talking about the case of three-star General combat veteran Mike Flynn. Andrew was outraged at the "dirty cops" manner of handling the Flynn charges. After Andrew recorded this video Mueller refused to comply with Judge Sullivan's order to provide original notes of the FBI's interview with Flynn, so this case is going to be one of the top stories we will be following and I am sure Andrew will have more to say in Monday's video.

Next, Andrew took a look at the Michael Cohen sentencing. The only difference in the Clinton/Obama regime and the Trump regime is the massive coverup of Clinton/Obama by the media and the non-stop effort of the media to "get" Trump. Andrew plays a clip from a documentary "War Room" in which Stephanopolous threatens someone to keep quiet about Clinton corruption. Then he plays a couple of clips of Stephanopolous sympathetically interviewing Michael Cohen who says "the task has now fallen on my shoulders" to save our nation. Andrew describes it as the Michael Cohen of the past (Stephanopolous) trying to reinstate the Michael Cohen of the present. Trump's argument is that Congress is so sleazy that my sleaziness shouldn't count.

Jenna Ellis is once again Andrew's guest. First, she talks about the Supreme Court's decision not to hear the case in which a Medicaid recipient wanted to sue a state which did not want to fund Planned Parenthood. Roberts and Kavanaugh sided with the liberal justices, but Jenna does not believe we should get all in a tizzy about this. Ohio does have a pro-life legislation passed by the state legislature and now going toGovernor Kasich for a signature or veto. He vetoed similar legislation before and will do it again because he is Kasich! He is going to wait until the last minute so it will be difficult for the legislature to get enough votes to override! That guy Kasich is despicable in my humble opinion!

Lastly, Andrew asked Jenna about the Chevron case having to do with unelected bureaucrats issuing regulations. The Court is going to hear the case and it may give the Court an opportunity to roll back the administrative state. Congress needs to step up!
