When women were cooking on fireplaces

And before going any further, Happy Birthday to my son Russ!

Just look at all that bread she's pulled from the oven!

The amount of ashes from almost constant fires, is part of this procedure which amazed me...every day having to be swept up!

I  lied on my last post.  Here is what I'm looking at until Sat. when everything is finally moved over to the new (to me) apartment!

And it's been refurbished completely, so this is the new kitchen...before I move all my stuff in.

I say I, but it sure is taking lots of friends and one son is even planning for the big day to help as well...thank you in advance to all of the "Moving Barbara Crew!"
