Flame Azaeas and a different Iris

 I hope I haven't posted these photos before. It's getting hard to keep track, especially since I'm not going around taking photos much any more.

The walkway and Iris

More pretties...

 Rhododendrons overlooking the terraced beds where we just planted vegetables...beside Lake Tomahawk.  If you look closely you'll see the lone yacht being maneuvered about on the water by remote control.

 An interesting chocolate and creamy iris color...almost done blooming for this year.

 Miss bumble bee was doing her job!

Iris

 Which came first? The goddess of rainbows, Iris...

 or the varieties of flowers, Iris?

 The tan/white flowering bush is what the landscapers put into the middle of an existing bed of iris.  Oh well...nice variety of leaf forms.

Then there are azaleas

 This bush may be under my kitchen window, but I can't see it when I look out.  Oh well.

 This fuchsia color definitely says it's spring! Of course it's been hit by a few freezes since the buds first appeared.

 It's funny that bushes that were planted at the same time, next to each other, have different times to bloom - full sun must do a lot for them.

Before the big renovation during which I was able to obtain one of these apartments, some of the residents had planted bulbs.  This iris still remains, though now we're told the landscapers will do all the planting these days.

I have a neighbor who has plenty of potted flowers.
I'd better upgrade my pots of plants!  This week I did a bit of pruning.

My kitchen window was blessed by azaleas, which I could only see from the walkway, so my neighbors enjoyed the blossoms while they lasted.

With all our rain, I've got quite a crop of mushrooms.

Spring weather also brings out the topless vehicles...and this strange thing is actually built on a motorcycle!

And at Lake Tomahawk on Tuesday this week, I saw these beauties.

And I've heard that May 6th is Nude Gardening day...however don't expect any lack of clothes from this gardener.
