Another random patterning, construction junk!  The renovations of our apartments in 2015 meant baths and kitchens were completely remodeled...thus many residents stayed in motels or moved elsewhere.

My living room windows provide daily joy and changing light patterns of trees, leaves, sometimes mountains, and just a few birds and squirrels.

Back to winter sun and cat loving a warm spot in a woven patterned chair.

A flower quilt at the North Carolina Arboretum...kind of freshly planted, the pattern is just discernible!

A nice idea to look into past photos to find something along a theme that Sepia Saturday has proposed. I chose to match just the subject of patterns.  But I can't wait to see what the other Sepia folks have come up with for this photo...

Don't worry, bee happy!

No matter what's going on in the world today, she's on a zinnia in August, just bee-ing happy.

My favorite honey sellers and raisers, Bee Tree Honey of Swannanoa, told me all these pollenators are female...that the drones are male, but the workers are female.  What do you know about that!

I'm running a new schedule, "Sunday Summertime" to post a summertime photo on the third Sunday of each month...which is hope that we will enjoy the color and memories of warmth throughout the winter as well!

Before firing...and bees do look a lot like flies when they don't get the touch of yellow on their tails.  Shucks.

Spotted Bellflower/Cherry Belle

 Wandering a bleak garden at the Arboretum a few weeks ago, I found a blooming plant (the only one!)

 Yes that orange blob is an unfocused bee. There were only a few, and they all had the orange spots, so whether they are a variety I don't know, or these flower's pollen happens to be orange, I couldn't ask them.

These flowers were very fragrant, and I usually don't catch smells that well these days.
