Partners:

Formats:
Singles: Players seeded by rating and play in a swiss-style format, playing against teams with similar seed and same win-loss record. 5+ rounds, rally scoring to 18, win by 2. No elimination.
Doubles with nine or more teams: Preliminary round of three matches for playoff seeding. Teams then play single-elimination playoffs with consolation bracket. Each match will consist of one game to 11, win by 2 points.
Doubles with six or fewer teams: Full round robin plus playoffs for a total of six matches.
Swiss-Style: Seeded teams play against similarly skilled teams. Final rank of teams determined by score after 6 rounds. No elimination.
Brackets are based on DUPR ratings. If you do not have a DUPR rating yet, you may go by your USAPA Skill Rating. Players can sign up for a higher bracket but not a lower bracket. Exceptions at Tournament Director discretion and take into allowance match history and known DUPR local variations.
Once you receive your match assignment, you can pick any available court for your match.
Court side is determined by one/two fingers behind a paddle. The fence side serves first. Switch sides at 6 points unless both sides agree to stay.
After your match, winners should come report the match result at the tournament desk. Both teams should also get their next match assignment.
What is DUPR?
Recommended that participants check for a DUPR account before the event. An account may already exist for you if you’ve played in a tournament or league.
Step 1: Search for your name at Claim Your DUPR Account (if one exists)
Step 2: Create an DUPR Account (if you don’t have one)
Step 4: Search for Triboro Pickleball Club and request to join
Step 3: Search for your friends and see who has a DUPR rating! (optional)
