Program Description


The program is funded by the Government of Ontario ,
and is intended to women with some experience in braiding,
who wish to refine their skills and become certified braiders.

et est destiné aux femmes ayant un minimum d'expérience en tressage,
qui souhaitent parfaire leurs compétences et devenir tresseuses certifiées.

 

This program allows participants to:

 
  • Improve their practical skills in all braiding styles and become a professional braider certified by Braids On Call Academy.
     
  • Develop their communications skills required in the Canadian workplace.
     
  • Acquire entrepreneurial and management skills for their own salon.
     
  • Work in a network of braiders and generate more income.
     
 

Ce programme permet aux participants tes de:

 
  • Renforcer leurs compétences pratique en toutes sortes de tresse de cheveux et devenir une tresseuse professionnelle certifiée par Braids On Call Academy.
     
  • Développer leurs compétences en communication requises dans le milieu de travail au Canada.
     
  • Acquérir des compétences en entreprenariat et en gestion de leur propre salon.
     
  • Travailler dans un réseau de tresseuses et générer plus de revenus.

Certification requirements:

To receive the professional braiding certificate, participants must complete all the required modules for the training in-person and have an advanced professional level in braiding.
 

Exigences du certificat :

Pour recevoir le certificat professionnel en tressage, les participants.tes doivent compléter tous les modules requis pour la formation en présentiel et avoir un niveau professionnel avancé en tressage.

Conditions of admission:

 

  - Have a valid work permit

  - Be able to attend the training in person at Mississauga

  - Be at least 18 years old

  - Have a basic knowledge of         braiding

  - Be a resident of Ontario

 
 - Purchase  training kit for $198

    • Wednesdays, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM, starting December 11th
