ME: If you can ignore how they made the deaths of civilian pocs entirely about white people, it was a pretty good episode.
ZULU: It's hard to ignore, though.
ME: Yeah.

The end message was better than I'd expected-- the judge driving home the fact that the civilian Afghans died for no good reason-- but still. I. It's just more material on how foreign (other-language-speaking, non-white, foreign, foreign, foreign dirty) people are not... as important, as relatable, as interesting, as human. And it's been a lifetime of seeing that message everywhere and guys, I'm burned out. I'm tired of this shit.

Isn't that just because the show is about mostly white defense lawyers in Chicago? Their job IS about the white American who paid them for criminal defense. I liked that the judge had to remind Alicia that it was about people dying, not about her soldier client.
