Ways I Can Control My Anger.

I have little control over my anger. I prefer to get it out of me. I'm not a violent person, but I do get angry. I usually use my voice to speak about what has made me angry. And believe me, everyone would hear. But once I let my anger out, I am able to go back to my sweet self in no time. You just never know with me.

How about you?

9. As it’s ‘Check Your Batteries Day’, when was the last time you checked your stock of batteries? Or, do you buy them when you need them?

Hubby checks all of ours every three months. We stock our batteries every ten months. We don't want to find out something doesn't work the hard way.

When and where was the most memorable sunrise or sunset you have ever seen?

My favorite sunsets are here in Tucson. They are absolutely breathtaking. Hubby and I watch them as often as we can. I'm never up in time for sunrise. 😂 We also saw some gorgeous ones on different cruises we went on. Sunsets are so gorgeous. I'm grateful for all of them.

Things I'm Disappointed About

Sometimes I find a new recipe to try and it flops. At first I'm angry that I used money to make something that was so awful. After about ten minutes, I then blame myself for choosing something so gross.

I get disappointed in people that show no compassion for anyone who has to use hearing aids. They lose their temper because they don't want to repeat themselves. I've even seen them yell at the person who has no control over their hearing.

But, the biggest disappointment in people who don't have empathy for the person with dementia, or worse. They have no control over what is happening to them And their family. They need all the Love and caring they can get. Please be thoughtful. A lot of people are.

Played through an event in Duel Links.

I watched Scream for the first time yesterday. I went in knowing who the killer was, but honestly even if I didn't, there were multiple times where they did something suspicious.

I started a project in RPG Maker MV just to figure out the engine.

I'm definitely feeling better. Still some pain, but it's not as bad as it was.

clock changing day

Woke up this morning, looked at my watch, wasn't sure if it had updated itself to the time change or not. (I'm always a little suspicious of time in general around the time change. Since APPARENTLY we can just make up a new time for it to be twice a year.)

I think I've gotten the important non-self-updating clocks changed over: stove, microwave, radio. The microwave has a live fast, f* the schedule style of time-keeping -- since the last time change, it managed to get 8 minutes ahead of the other kitchen clocks, which is pretty impressive. Now it's been reset to match its kitchen friends, which surely won't throw any of us off as we go into the work week...

Ooey gooey snack bars
Ingredients You’ll Need
For the crust:
* 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
* 1 cup granulated sugar
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 2 large eggs
* 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
* ½ teaspoon baking powder
* ¼ teaspoon salt
For the gooey layer:
* 8 oz cream cheese, softened
* ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
* 2 cups powdered sugar
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 2 large eggs
Step-by-Step Method
Step 1: Preheat and Prepare
Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan with butter or line it with parchment paper for easier removal later. This ensures your bars come out cleanly and hold their shape.
Step 2: Make the Crust
1. In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugaruntil light and fluffy.
2. Beat in vanilla extract and eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each.
3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined. The result should be a slightly sticky, soft dough.
5. Press about two-thirds of this dough evenly into the prepared pan. This will form the base of your ooey gooey bars. Set aside the remaining third for the topping.
Step 3: Prepare the Gooey Layer
3. In another bowl, combine cream cheese and butteruntil smooth and creamy.
5. Gradually add powdered sugar, mixing well to eliminate lumps.
7. Beat in vanilla extract and eggs until the mixture is glossy and smooth.

Things I Find Hard To Share

There are things from my childhood that I won't share. Everyone has something. At least I think so. There are things that I never want to speak of. They were very hard times. Time to focus on all the good things in my life. I am happy, healthy, and very lucky.

6. Who are the five people you spend the most time with? How does each of them impact your life and behavior?

First, my hubby, second, would be my brother Dan, third, would be my daughter, Chris, fourth, is easy, my friend Lisa, and fifth, my friend Kelly.

My hubby has my back at all times. He calms me when I'm stressed, makes me smile when I need it the most, and makes me happy.

Dan is always there for me. Everyone loves Dan.

Chris makes me laugh, and I'm happy that we raised such a good person.

My two friends would do anything for me. They're both the best.

8. It’s International Women’s Day – can you name any famous female artists, musicians, scientists, or authors?

For all the female scientists, I am grateful for everything you have done through the years. When many people don't believe in science, yet you all carry on. To every female recording artist, thank you for making my life better through music. As far as authors go, I love Maya Angelou’s work. I could read it all day and night. I get her books from the library and read them often. And let's not forget Harper Lee. I've been reading To Kill a Mockingbird once a year for years. And I have to mention Agatha Christie. She's one of my favs. To all female artists, I love so many that I don't know where to start. I'll list a couple that I like. Kara Walker is an artist from the American South. Georgia O’Keeffe, Amy Sherald, Cindy Sherman. These e are just a few. We're very lucky to be surrounded by such talent. I'm going to some art shows next weekend.

There are so many women I didn't mention. It's not because I forgot. Just ran out of time.

MDZS, the Brindlewood Version

I'm writing a Brindlewood Bay adventure based on MDZS/The Untamed.

Or rather, based on one small detail of MDZS/The Untamed, using a modern-AU setting: Investigating the death of Lan Furen. (Adventure title: Lost in the Clouds. Complexity 7. Would be 6, but the death is 30-ish years old, so they're working with some difficulty.)

Brindlewood Bay has a different approach: Instead of "GM decides on the details of the murder and sets a bunch of clues that the players have to find and figure out," the GM sets the location, a list of suspects, a list of clues - and the players then come up with their own idea of who did what. Then they roll. If they roll high enough, they were correct and have solved the murder. (If they roll almost high enough, they were correct but now there is a complication - the murderer is getting away, or attacks them, or someone is in danger because of what they've revealed, etc.)

I don't have to decide what happened to Lan Furen to have it as the base of a murder mystery here. I just have to figure out who might've been involved, invent some clues, and throw them at the players.

It's been more difficult than I thought. )

I've officially made Saturdays my 'do nothing' day for the time being, which means I'm doing exactly what I've done for the last few weeks, but trying to feel less guilty about it!
