Royal Enfield Classic 350 Gorkha Edition Launched In India, Priced At Rs 2.10 lakh

Royal Enfield has launched the Classic 350 Gorkha Edition in India, a special edition motorcycle dedicated to the Gorkha Regiment of the Indian Army. The bike is priced at Rs 2.10 lakh (ex-showroom) and is available at Royal Enfield dealerships across the country starting today.

The Gorkha Edition doesn't change anything about the Classic 350's underlying design, the body panels, cycle parts, and overall silhouette remain identical to the standard motorcycle. What sets this edition apart is its Dark Rifle Green paint scheme, the standard regimental colour worn by the Gorkha Regiment, giving the bike a distinctly military-green presence.

Layered on top of the paint is a set of dedicated graphics. The fuel tank carries a Gorkha Edition sticker, while the side panels feature the crossed Khukri motif, the twin-blade insignia associated with the regiment, alongside Gorkha Edition branding.

The edition is based on the Classic 350's range-topping "Chrome" variant, and it shows in the finishing details. The engine casings, exhaust pipe, and headlamp bezel are all finished in chrome, contrasting against the matte military green paint. The bike rolls on chrome wire-spoke wheels, and retains round bar-end mirrors.

The familiar semi-digital instrument cluster, an analogue speedometer paired with an LCD display, carries over, along with the round LED headlamp, LED pilot lamps, and adjustable brake and clutch levers.

Under the tank, nothing changes: the Gorkha Edition is powered by the same 349 cc air/oil-cooled J-series single-cylinder engine, producing 20.2 bhp @6,100 rpm and 27 Nm of torque @4,000 rpm, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic front forks and twin rear shock absorbers, with disc brakes at both ends and dual-channel ABS as standard.

The Classic 350 remains Royal Enfield's best-selling motorcycle in India, moving more than 30,000 units a month, and the brand has repeatedly turned to regimental and heritage-themed special editions to keep the model fresh without touching its winning formula. With the Gorkha Edition now official, it adds another distinctive colourway to a lineup that already spans several such tribute editions.
