Euler Motors expands Palwal plant with electric 4W production line

Electric commercial vehicle maker Euler Motors on Thursday inaugurated a new four-wheeler manufacturing line at its Palwal facility in Haryana, expanding its annual production capacity to up to 24,000 vehicles.

The company said it has invested ₹100 crore in the facility, which covers 40 acres. The plant will manufacture Euler's four-wheeler cargo models, the Turbo EV 1000 and Storm EV.

The facility was inaugurated by Pawan Munjal, Executive Chairman of Hero MotoCorp, which is also an investor in Euler Motors.

At full capacity, the facility will operate two shifts a day, supported by a third hybrid shift. It includes an automated four-wheeler assembly conveyor, dedicated assembly lines, a body shop and an integrated battery-pack assembly line.

Euler said the expansion will help it meet rising demand for its four-wheeler electric commercial vehicles. Monthly four-wheeler sales rose from around 40 units in April 2025 to roughly 800 units in June 2026, according to founder and CEO Saurav Kumar.

“The four-wheeler cargo segment has long run on ICE because no electric vehicle could compete on the right combination of performance and affordability,” Kumar said. He added that Euler's Turbo EV 1000 and Storm EV have helped address that gap.

The Turbo EV 1000, launched 10 months ago, has coincided with an increase in electric vehicle penetration in the four-wheeler cargo segment from around 1 per cent to 5.8 per cent, Euler said. The company estimates its market share in the segment at about 28 per cent.

Euler's four-wheeler portfolio also includes the Storm EV, which the company describes as India's first commercial vehicle equipped with advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

The company said the new facility has integrated testing across the manufacturing process, including checks of suspension, drivetrain and steering systems. Battery packs undergo thermal cycling, water-wading, vibration, mechanical shock and other tests before vehicles are delivered.

Euler said the plant has a localised supply chain and that both models are designed and manufactured in India.

Gaurav Kumar, Head of Supply Chain and Manufacturing at Euler Motors, said the new facility would allow the company to scale production while maintaining quality and reliability standards.

“A commercial vehicle earns its keep only if it performs the same on day one and day one thousand,” he said.
