Sunstone Metals has reported more significant drilling results from the Bramaderos #Gold #Copper Project in southern Ecuador, expanding mineralisation outside the current 3.6 million ounce resource. Porotillo drill hole PTDD020 returned a substantial 176-metre intersection grading 0.50 g/t Au-Eq from surface, including 58.6 metres at 0.66 g/t Au-Eq. The Porotillo discovery now measures a large area of around 550m x 240m. Drilling continues to extend known mineralisation beyond 3.6Moz resource Sunstone Metals Limited continues to advance the Bramaderos gold-copper project in southern Ecuador with strong drilling results that extend mineralisation beyond the current 3.6Moz resource. All 20 holes assayed to date in the ongoing program at Porotillo, Copete, and Melonal prospects have returned long, robust gold and copper intersections from surface, confirming the potential to convert a significant portion of the large Exploration Target to Resources later this year. Notably, drilling at Porotillo has expanded mineralisation over an area of approximately 500m by 200m outside the existing resource boundary. The strongest recent result includes 213m at 0.53 g/t AuEq from surface (PTDD012), with multiple higher-grade sub-intervals supporting resource growth. Surface trenching is underway to further define the mineralisation footprint ahead of the planned resource estimate update in the second half of 2026. Sunstone Metals Limited has intersected significant #gold #copper mineralisation outside the existing 3.6Moz Bramaderos Resource, with recent drill holes at Porotillo returning 200m at 0.62 g/t AuEq and 151m at 0.54 g/t AuEq from surface. Sunstone MD & CEO Patrick Duffy said: “This drilling program is aimed at converting more of the large Bramaderos exploration targets to resources, driving substantial growth in the current 3.6Moz inventory. “And as these two latest holes show, the current drilling campaign is delivering as planned, hitting 200m and 151m of mineralisation outside the resource and confirming the predictable nature of the Bramaderos porphyry geology. “The geometry of mineralisation at Porotillo is now starting to take shape as we extend and infill the area of the strong gold-in-soil geochemical anomaly. Mineralisation across the drill grid is starting to connect into a continuous mineralised domain across the area of drilling, giving us confidence that we are defining another major mineralised centre on the property.
