BluGlass has secured a $1 million Phase II commitment from US company Uviquity, expanding our collaboration across #photonics development, advanced packaging, laser integration and product supply. The program builds on successful technical milestones achieved under Phase I. BluGlass CEO Jim Haden said: "Our expanded agreement with Uviquity is a testament to the value of BluGlass’ advanced visible GaN lasers and custom development capability for novel applications. BluGlass has achieved a new world-record in single-mode GaN laser performance, demonstrating 1.9W peak output power from a 450nm blue GaN laser on a single monolithic chip. Michael Best Strategies' Board of Advisors is led by Chairman Reince Priebus, former White House Chief of Staff for President Trump during his first administration. BluGlass has entered into a multi-phased A$1.25M development program with a U.S. Tier-1 defence prime for the custom development of visible GaN DFB #lasers and gain chips for next-generation dual-use #defence and dual-use applications. BluGlass has received the first A$560K order.
