BluGlass has secured a $1 million Phase II commitment from US company Uviquity, expanding our collaboration across #photonics development, advanced packaging, laser integration and product supply. The program builds on successful technical milestones achieved under Phase I. BluGlass CEO Jim Haden said: "Our expanded agreement with Uviquity is a testament to the value of BluGlass’ advanced visible GaN lasers and custom development capability for novel applications. Importantly, this strategic partnership includes the potential for a long-term manufacturing supply agreement for GaN lasers as Uviquity commercialises its photonic integrated circuit and packaging roadmap." https://lnkd.in/gtezcSjc

Bringing innovation to life. BluGlass is the innovative partner for custom GaN laser diodes, microLEDs, LEDs and more
About us
BluGlass (ASX: BLG) is a global leader commercialising a breakthrough technology using Remote Plasma Chemical Vapour Deposition (RPCVD) for the manufacture of high-performance LEDs and other devices. BluGlass has invented a new process using RPCVD to grow advanced materials such as gallium nitride (GaN) and indium gallium nitride (InGaN). These materials are crucial to the production of high-efficiency devices such as high-brightness light emitting diodes (LEDs), microLEDs and laser diodes used in next-generation lighting technologies. The RPCVD technology, because of its low temperature and ammonia free growth process, offers many potential benefits over existing technologies including higher efficiency, lower cost, substrate flexibility (including GaN on silicon) and scalability. www.bluglass.com.au
