  • At Amplitude Energy, we’re proud of our partnership with Neil Porter Legacy and the positive outcomes being achieved for young people across South West Victoria. During FY2025/26, Neil Porter Legacy recorded 3,559 student participations across 18 local schools and facilitated 7,212 hours of student engagement with industry. These experiences helped young people explore career pathways, build industry knowledge and develop skills for the future. Through our direct involvement in education and industry activities, Amplitude Energy contributed to 92 student participations across six schools. Students had opportunities to visit our operations, meet our people, build their energy literacy and learn about the sustainability challenges facing our region. We're also proud that our Head of External Affairs Bindi Gove was appointed as one of the Neil Porter Legacy's inaugural Pathway Partner Ambassadors, helping to strengthen connections between schools, employers and industry while encouraging more young women to consider careers in trades and technology. Thank you to the Neil Porter Legacy for the important work you do in creating meaningful pathways for regional young people. We are proud to support and create opportunities that drive education and energy literacy within the local community where we operate, and perhaps even inspire the next generation of young scientists and engineers. We look forward to continuing our partnership and supporting the next generation of talent in our local communities. #CommunityPartnerships #Education #RegionalVictoria #EnergyLiteracy #STEMCareers

  • Celebrating Dairy Month in Victoria! We were proud to get amongst Dairy Month in Victoria, a time to recognise the hard work of Australia’s dairy farmers and the journey dairy products take from farm gate to table. Victoria remains the heart of Australia’s dairy industry, with dairy farming playing a vital role in regional communities and the broader economy. National Dairy Month also highlights the importance of the people, infrastructure and energy that help turn fresh milk into the products we enjoy every day. From pasteurisation and processing to manufacturing cheese, yoghurt and other dairy products, natural gas is an essential part of dairy production and processing. Amplitude Energy is proud to play a role in delivering reliable domestic gas supply to customers in southeast Australia, helping support manufacturers, regional jobs and industries such as dairy that keep Australia moving. • We're proud to sponsor Women in Resources South Australia and support important conversations shaping the future of our industry. Join Bianca DeGennaro (PwC Australia) this Thursday 30 July for insights into fuel security, business resilience, supply chain pressures and geopolitical risk. #WomenInResourcesSA #FuelSecurity #Resilience #ResourcesIndustry #SouthAustralia

Fuel security is fast becoming one of the biggest resilience questions for Australian businesses as geopolitical tensions and supply chain pressures are pushing it right up the agenda. Join us on Thursday 30 July as Bianca DeGennaro, Partner in PwC Australia's Sustainability team, unpacks the current landscape of fuel security risk for Australian businesses. Bianca works closely with clients to help them understand climate-related and broader resilience risk exposure, and in 2026 that conversation has expanded well beyond climate, now taking in geopolitical instability and supply chain constraints as key drivers of business risk. Whether you're in resources, energy, or a related sector, this is a timely opportunity to hear a practitioner's perspective on where these risks are heading and what businesses are doing to build resilience. • Helping Bring Watson’s Tree Frog Back from the Brink 🐸 Amplitude Energy is proud to support the recovery of the critically endangered Watson’s Tree Frog, a species once thought extinct in Victoria until its remarkable rediscovery in East Gippsland in 2015. Working with the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action’s Gippsland team, we have supplied materials for an innovative reintroduction program that repurposes clean industrial drums into above-ground breeding habitats. Plans include releasing both adult frogs and captive-bred tadpoles into specially designed above-ground ponds. To support this effort, Amplitude Energy donated 30 clean, unused 44-gallon drums, filled with water in the field to create safe habitats where tadpoles can develop into frogs before entering the wild. Led by Wild Research Pty Ltd in partnership with the Moogji Aboriginal Council, the project creates safer environments for tadpoles to develop while reducing exposure to disease, including the devastating chytrid fungus. By supporting this initiative, we’re helping protect biodiversity, strengthen regional ecosystems, and contribute to the long-term recovery of one of Victoria’s most threatened native species. #ActResponsibly #EnvironmentalStewardship #Sustainability #WatsonsTreeFrog #CommunityPartnerships Photo credit to Matt West of Wild Research Pty Ltd

  • Amplitude Energy supports more affordable, reliable domestic gas — but our submission on the Domestic Gas Reservation Scheme's Draft Design Framework makes one point above all: affordability requires more supply, not the redistribution of a shrinking resource. As drafted, the Domestic Supply Obligation would weaken the long-term contracts that fund new supply — hollowing out the very contract market the scheme depends on, and pushing customers toward imported LNG at up to triple the price. Our recommendation: let East Coast gas exporters acquit their domestic gas reservation obligation by genuinely linking to new domestic supply. That turns the scheme from redistributing existing molecules into supporting new ones — and drives the foundation contracts that projects like our East Coast Supply Project (~A$1bn of investment with our joint venture partner O.G. Energy) need to proceed. Reserve the gas. Produce it first. A huge congratulations to our Orbost Gas Processing Plant team on achieving a new daily production record of 73 TJ/day, 5 TJ/d higher than the nameplate capacity of the plant. Making this extra gas available over a year, would be enough to supply almost 40,000 Victorian homes using gas for heating, cooking and hot water. This milestone reflects the team’s dedication, expertise and relentless focus on continuous improvement, demonstrating what can be achieved through collaboration, innovation and operational excellence. At a time when every gas molecule counts to help meet peak winter demand, this achievement highlights the important role the Orbost team plays in maximising supply and delivering reliable energy when it’s needed most. Reaching this new performance record is a testament to their sustained focus, problem-solving mindset, and commitment – well done to everyone involved in this outstanding achievement. 👏 Michael Towan, Jacob Anthony, CPEng NER, Chris Mcmonagle, Mark Ripper and Frank Groen. #OrbostGasProcessingPlant #ContinuousImprovement #OperationalExcellence #Teamwork
