Not only did NYC's Muslim mayor Zohran Mamdani and even Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez show up at the 911 Memorial in complete contempt of the victims, camera footage showed they appeared to be laughing at what's meant to be a solemn moment:

A live television feed showing the service captured the moments between the socialist mayor and congresswoman as the camera panned across people weeping as their loved ones were being remembered:

What's also offensive is that no authorities in charge of the Memorial service prevented him and her from attending. Do the organizers realize the shame they've brought upon the gathering in doing so? The 911 Families should demand serious apologies from all in charge of the Memorial service for the horrific disfavor they did, allowing practically 2 awful people to infiltrate and desecrate. This is absolutely horrible and repulsive.
An affluent Virginia school district located just miles from where Islamic terrorists crashed a plane into the Pentagon issued guidance for its teachers to not “associate” the devastating 9/11 attacks “with Islam or Muslims.”
Guidance from Fairfax County Public Schools in Virginia told its teachers to be prepared to combat “anti-Muslim bias” in the classroom and to not connect the attacks with any religious motivation. The guidance, obtained by FOX News, was issued ahead of the 25th anniversary of the attacks that killed nearly 3,000 people.
Fairfax County is located outside Washington, D.C., and just miles away from where the 9/11 terrorists crashed a plane into the Pentagon, killing over 180 people. [...]
Evidence shows that the 19 terrorists behind the attacks were motivated by their adherence to Islam. Writings found from one of the hijackers show him praying for “guidance” and “help” and demonstrate that he believed he would be “entering paradise” after dying in the attacks. Another document found from the hijackers discussed the history of Islam and Muhammad waging war against non-Muslims. [...]
Reacting to the guidance, Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) said it should be “ripped up.”
“On the 25th anniversary, Democrats are trying to downplay the EVIL of 9/11. ISLAMIC TERRORISTS MURDERED 2,977 AMERICANS,” he posted on X. “That shouldn’t be controversial. It’s a damn fact. This ‘guide’ should be ripped up and thrown in the garbage, along with every other socialist rewrite of history.”
While Virginia officials cater to Islamic sensibilities, Texas recently moved to approve new curriculum standards that teach about the religious motivations behind 9/11 and the violent history surrounding Islam’s rise. The teaching would include the “Prophet Mohammed’s brutal military campaigns against Jewish and Christian tribes, the normalization of slavery, and the taking of female captives as harem slaves.”
Virginia is clearly one of the worst places to get an education today, much like New York. 911 Families should comment on serious concerns like this.
A quarter-century later, it’s still a political flashpoint. “You’re dealing with radical Islam,” John says, citing the Council on American-Islamic Relations’ recent direction for schools not to “talk about 9/11 as a terrorist attack.” John describes a reporter who asked him, “If you were to face a group of kids, would you tell them it was a terrorist attack?” He’s shocked this is even up for debate. “It’s crazy that we were talking about something like that.”
Correct. That CAIR played a part in the school scandal is also disturbing.
Moshe Dann discusses the tragedy of September 11, 2001 in the USA, and October 7, 2023 in Israel:
The attack on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001 is embedded in America’s consciousness as a nation. Jews in Israel and around the world share the pain of that event as we celebrate Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year on that date this year. We, too, suffered a national disaster when Hamas terrorists attacked Israeli communities on October 7, 2023.
Both events were perpetrated by Muslim terrorists with similar ideologies; both left deep scars. Both were wake-up calls that initiated wars, changed perspectives, and engaged new strategies.
The world’s reaction to these events, however, has been strikingly different. Expressions of outrage over 9/11 and support for America’s response are contrasted by support for Hamas and Islamist terrorist organizations, while condemning Israel for defending itself.
Like the war against Al Qaeda, the war against Hamas and its supporters is not over. Although largely defeated, they remain active, dangerous and determined.
Everyone who is interested knows what happened on 9/11. Many people have written about it and have produced documentaries about it, but too few have asked what the attack means, its significance, and its connection to Islamism. Prof Efriam Karsh wrote about this in his book, "Islamic Imperialism: a history", which explains the strategy of Islamist terrorist organizations.
Connecting 9/11 to other Islamic-based suicidal attacks, such as the attack on the World Trade Center in 1993, and attacks on civilians and civilian targets is essential. It’s what the Muslim Brotherhood’s plan of “Civilizational Jihad" means.
Most people know, despite conspiracy theories being spread on social media, that the attack on 9/11 was carried out by a group of mainly Saudi terrorists who were connected to Al Qaeda, a terrorist organization. These Al Qaeda terrorists were funded and assisted by the Saudi government and Muslim “charities," and by Saudis living in California and other states. Several Saudi terrorists who carried out the attack were enrolled in flight schools and training programs in the US where they were learning how to hijack and fly airplanes to use them as weapons of mass destruction.
Why were they supported by the Saudi government and Muslim donors?
Even today, Saudi Arabia can't be trusted in virtually every way, shape and form, and 911 Families, in example, are rightfully demanding answers on the issues. The subject of Islam is something that also needs to be pondered when discussing tragedies like the 2015 jihadist attacks in France at the Bataclan, and everything must be done to demand answers there too.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Friday marked 25 years since the September 11 attacks, remembering the victims and those who risked their lives to save others and drawing a parallel between the attacks and the October 7 massacre in Israel.
“25 years ago, thousands of innocent people went to work in the World Trade Center in New York. They never came home," Netanyahu said.
“For those who know such loss, it never leaves you. America remembers them. Israel remembers them."
Netanyahu paid tribute to the emergency personnel and others who acted during the attacks.
“We remember the firefighters who ran up the stairs while everyone else was running down. We remember the police officers, the first responders, the passengers who bravely fought back on the hijacked planes, and we remember the evil that murdered them."
“On September 11th, America was hit by pure evil. On October 7th, Israel was hit by it again," the Prime Minister stated.
Netanyahu rejected calls to understand the motivations or grievances of terrorists, saying, “There is no context for burning families alive. There is no grievance that justifies murdering innocents deliberately."
“There is no ‘yes, but’ when it comes to terrorism," he added.
The Prime Minister also pointed to chants of “Death to America, death to Israel," saying that the hostility towards the two countries stems from the same source.
“They hate both of us for the same reason, because America and Israel stand for freedom, for democracy, for civilization. For life."
More precisely, because the Religion of Peace dictates it. And even Netanyahu's going to have to consider the time's come to address the challenging issues more clearly.
A drone show recreated the Twin Towers in light over New York Harbor on Wednesday ahead of the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001, al-Qaeda terror attack.
The show featured 2,977 drones — one for each victim killed when hijackers crashed planes into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and rural southwestern Pennsylvania.
It was organized by families of 9/11 victims and New York Fire Department members who responded to the attack at the World Trade Center, where 2,753 civilians, firefighters and law enforcement officers were killed.
An important form of Memorial, to be sure. But will the awful Zohran Mamdani show up at the 911 Memorial today? If he does, it'll be a humiliation.
NBC-KXAN gave a report about an 11-year-old who's into comics, who wants 911 to be remembered:
Benjamin Faundez loves to tell stories.
The 11-year-old Arlington boy is an avid reader and wants to be a writer one day. He’s also a film director — making tales come to life with a phone camera and help from his younger sister Florencia.
But more than anything, comics are the way Benjamin expresses himself.
“These are all the comics I’ve made over the years,” he said, scurrying into the living room with a thick white binder. Inside were dozens of comic books he’d written over the last three years, neatly slid into protective sheets to keep his creations in mint condition.
Flipping through his immense catalogue, Benjamin says he’s most fond of his fictional protagonist ‘Sacred Sargeant.’
And while he headlines dozens of comics, Sacred Sargeant was absent from Benjamin’s most notable piece — a story about the first responders who responded to the twin towers on 9/11.
‘I wasn’t supposed to be at that spot’
On Sept. 12, 2024, one day after the 23rd anniversary of 9/11, Benjamin’s parents Paulina and Miguel took their family to New York City. While the four got to experience several highlights — including the Back to the Future musical and visiting the site Miguel proposed to Paulina at — Benjamin’s fascination with recent history primarily motivated the 1,600-mile trip.
“Around second grade, I started reading these books called I Survived — historical fiction about 10-, 11-, 12-year-olds that survived natural disasters or events that like Hurricane Katrina or the Chicago Fire,” Faundez said. “I ran upon the book called I Survived the Attacks of September 11… after I read it, I decided I wanted to learn more about what happened on that day.”
That's most amazing a younger reader wants to learn more about the subject. But does the news network want to provide the clear information? Because this article is superficial in the extreme, and doesn't say a word about the Islamic religion's role in the horror. How can the tragedy be recalled properly, and how is anyone to form an opinion if they don't know what the exact motivations were that led to such an abominable incident?
Benjamin took the pin and headed through the security checkpoint but couldn’t leave Passarella empty-handed.
“I was still working on the comic book. I hadn’t finished it yet … but at that time I just felt like I had to give it to him,” Benjamin said.
Then Passarella upped the ante.
“He went back to he went back to his office and took out a flag and explained to me that on the flag was everybody’s name who died on September 11,” Benjamin said.
The two went on their way, but Passarella exchanged numbers with Benjamin’s parents. Then a couple months later, Passarella’s agency shared the encounter online — showing off Benjamin’s work to the world. [...]
‘We’re never going to forget’
100 million Americans are now too young to have a first-hand recollection of 9/11. Some were too young to have lasting memories. Others simply weren’t alive. This includes many people Passarella oversees — something he thinks about ahead of the 25th anniversary on Friday.
“The greatest challenge you have is to instill in our workforce what Ben emits through his conversation and through his actions to never forget those who lost their lives,” Passarella says. “343 firefighters, men and women went in there innocently and their lives were taken.”
Despite being born 14 years after the tragedy, Benjamin plans to continue “remembering and honoring the people who sacrificed themselves and died to protect us from the bad guys and what they did to us and what they did to the country on that terrible day.”
Twenty-five years after the attacks, Passarella says Benjamin represents something unexpected: proof that the stories of that day are still reaching a new generation.
Unfortunately, if the article itself is any suggestion, information about the ideology that led to the tragedy is not reaching new generations. Also notice how they reduce any description of al Qaeda to merely "bad guys". That hardly says anything. At worst, it's obscuring the identities of the culprits. NBC's affiliate should be ashamed of themselves for omitting any meat-and-potatoes information about 9-11. Are they even disturbed by how NYC's Muslim mayor Zohran Mamdani handed a commemoration pen to an aide named Ramzi Kassem, who served as lawyer to an al Qaeda jihadist, an act that outraged 911 Families? That's something the pre-teen comics writer could develop 5 dozen comics about for history research.
It's admirable there's a young comics creator at work who enjoys the medium as much as he does, and his interest in the subject of 911 is also important. But without knowledge, there's no defense, and NBC's doing a terrible disservice to many people affected by the tragedy by omitting crucial facts from the narrative. Let's be clear. Just because the guy in the spotlight's a youngster is no excuse for reducing the entire narrative to something so superficial. We have to hope the young fellow will be able to research the exact facts, and even interview 911 Families/survivors, which could provide some important information that could help produce plenty of history comics for modern students to check out. For now, NBC's only setting a very poor example with their obscurations.

Monica Iken and her husband Michael Patrick Iken were set to celebrate the second anniversary of their meeting on September 9, 2001.
The newlyweds – married 11 months prior – parted on that Tuesday morning with Michael heading to his work as a bond broker in the South Tower of the World Trade Center in NYC.
“He kissed me goodbye and said, ‘I love you; I’ll see you later.’”
A few hours later, Michael called Monica from his office and told her to turn on the television. She thought this was strange, as bond traders are the busiest in the mornings and he would not normally call until the afternoon.
“I did, and I saw this gaping hole and that a plane hit the building [the North Tower],” she recalled in a conversation with The Jerusalem Post. “He told me: ‘Everything is fine, everything is okay. They said to stay where we are. Don’t worry.’”
“Then he said, ‘I’ve got to go. I’ll call you back.’ He called me back a few minutes later and said, ‘Listen, you’ve got to call the family and friends; they keep calling me here, and there’s a lot going on.’”
Monica pulled up the phone book while still watching the TV and listening to her husband, who still sounded calm.
“I have the phone book in my left hand and the phone in the right hand, and I literally see this thing come out of the corner of the screen on the right side, like a giant jumbo jet.”
“I thought: ‘There’s no way.’ Nothing was registering. When you see something like that, your brain is not computing. I literally watched [the plane] hit the [South] Tower, and I was frozen in space because he worked in tower two on the 84th floor.”
Monica said she kept thinking Michael would get out, because his best friend did. But by September 12, she said, her “nightmare had begun.”
“To this day, I have no remains,” she told the Post. “I have nothing ... not even a ring, not even an ID, nothing.”
“I had to digest that I was newly married, trying to have a baby, and he went to work but was never coming home. And even though we went down to look for him and we did all those things, the reality was – I knew he was gone.”
Monica starts NGO, September's Mission to preserve site
After Michael was killed, Monica became concerned with the idea that the city may build over the site of all the fallen. This prompted her to start her NGO, September’s Mission.
It was founded with the primary objective of working with public and private partnerships to secure the acreage of the World Trade Center site and ensure “that we do not build over dead people in America.”
Of the approximately 16-acre site of the former World Trade Center complex, Monica and her fellow advocates managed to secure half of the site for the Ground Zero memorial.
“The good news is I have a place to go to honor my husband,” she continued. “His birthday is on September 8, so I go there on September 8. He will be 62 this September. We celebrate every year.”
“As long as I’m alive, I go to the memorial, and we sit by his name, and we have merlot, his favorite thing, and we celebrate life instead of death,” Monica said.
“He took his last breath there, his last step, and for me, that is a sacred and hallowed space. I thank God every day for that place, because if I didn’t have that place to go, I would never have survived the nightmare,” she continued.
September mission's second objective is working with families of those killed and advocating for them to receive whatever they need.
“I help them with mental health and educational programming. I do a lot of things behind the scenes,” Monica remarked.
She doesn’t take a salary, and uses her own funds to keep the organization running.
Because of her work with September’s Mission, Monica is very involved emotionally and practically with the families, so when the discussion came up in recent months about New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s planned attendance at the memorial, Monica’s main concern was how the families will feel about that.
“It’s not political for me. He’s our mayor. I’m a New Yorker. It’s more about the fact that this is our time, and the people who should be there are the ones representing that time with us and were a part of that time,” she said.
“I don’t know where he stands exactly, but he doesn’t seem to be on the same page,” Monika continued, adding that she felt that Mamdani was somewhat connected to the people who “murdered our loved ones.”
“If I go to a funeral and the murderer comes, I don’t think that’s acceptable. And I’m not saying he is a murderer. I’m just saying that he wasn’t involved. I think he needs to just respect us and let us have our time, and then he can do whatever he wants.”
Mamdani should not be attending the memorial service, and he also shouldn't be working as mayor. And we must hope he won't be anywhere near the memorial site come the week of the tragedy next month.
Tim Rice tells about how the USA got to where it is now with Islam having taken hold in the quarter century since September 11, 2001:
It’s popular among a certain sort to point out that Islam has always been a fact of American life — Thomas Jefferson owned a Koran, don’t you know — but that’s not really true. Before 9/11, Islam was only tangentially relevant in American life. As recently as 1993, the journalist Robert Kaplan was still using the term “Moslems,” which feels like “Boer” or “Hottentot” or something else we left in the 19th century.
But on September 11, 2001, Islam and America collided, and the former has been on a speedrun in our country ever since.
It’s fascinating but not entirely surprising that an Islamic terror attack on the United States somehow led to the rapid mainstreaming of radical Islam in this country. Countries tend to import bits of former enemies’ cultures, like how we all drive Hondas and the Japanese love baseball. But the acceptance of even the most vile and un-American forms of Islam was hastened by the liberal obsession with fighting “Islamophobia” during the War on Terror, an arguably good intention that paved the road down which folks like Abdul El-Sayed now trod.
Our problem is not a lack of awareness necessarily — consumers of conservative media at least are familiar with things like the footwashing station in the Dallas-Fort Worth airport and the semi-autonomous Muslim town in Texas. The problem is that even those of us paying attention don’t appreciate how quickly we got here.
As we approach the 25th anniversary of 9/11, consider the scandal that rocked the 10th: the planned construction of an Islamic community center blocks away from the site of the terrorist attack. Dubbed the “Ground Zero Mosque,” the project was almost universally derided. Howard Dean said the project was “a real affront to people who lost their lives” on 9/11, while then-Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid called for the builders to pick a different site.
It’s hard to imagine Democrats reacting that way now, and that’s a problem. But even in 2011, things had gotten away from us. Reid and Dean broke with President Barack Obama, who defended the project. Obama may not be a secret Kenyan Muslim, but he sure did his best to make criticizing Islam socially unacceptable.
Even years before, both Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan were already enabling footholds, and there were alleged conservatives who were just as hostile as some leftists to the whole notion of daring to speak negatively about the Religion of Peace. Tucker Carlson's quite possibly one of those. Many of these same people are more than utterly willing to call even 911 Families "bigots and xenophobes", and in the past quarter century, I remember a man from Titusville, PA, claiming to be a teacher, who said that while he may not call a kid whose firefighting father died in the WTC tragedy a bigot, he would be perfectly willing to say he was wrong to come within even miles of saying anything negative about the Religion of Peace. Its makes no difference whether somebody's willing to employ crude language or not, what's offensive there is that somebody in a position of "education" is basically saying survivors of 911 and their families have no moral authority and are systematically forbidden to address serious issues like these in any way, shape or form. And it should be noted the man I speak of later embraced a book laced with anti-American metaphors that minimized sexual violence. That man, to my knowledge, died 4 years ago at just 57 years old, of an illness, but the damage people like him did to morale and unity is stunning. And that people like him were willing to support books with repulsive viewpoints speaks volumes.
I've thought at times about what Rice says on the high liklihood the Democrats today wouldn't say a word against building a mosque near Ground Zero. And the election of Zohran Mamdani to mayoral office in NYC is additionally chilling, because it speaks volumes about what kind of electorate now resides in the Big Apple, and not just Muslims themselves. It also makes clear how many non-Muslim leftists now reside in a burg I myself never felt much attachment to, and that spells serious trouble going forward. Especially if they reelect Mamdani in the next few years.
The CBC, one of the worst news outlets north of the border, has really dug a hole for their reputation by telling their staff not to refer to 9-11 as a terrorist attack:
The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) sent a memo to its reporters and editors this week instructing them not to refer to the September 11, 2001, attack on America as a “terrorist attack.”
The memo, first reported by an astonished Warren Kinsella at the Toronto Sun, used boldface type to emphasize the directive to CBC employees.
“Do not refer to the Sept. 11 attacks as terrorist attacks,” the memo said bluntly.
“The hijackings led to passenger jet crashes in Washington, D.C., Pennsylvania and Manhattan. The World Trade Center was destroyed,” the memo continued, by way of explaining why the atrocity seen by most of the world as the textbook example of a “terrorist attack” should not be described as such.
According to Kinsella, the memo originated with Basem Boshra, the Senior Director of Journalistic Standards and Public Trust at CBC News. [...]
By the time Kelly got around to Canada’s National Post, she was engaging in Matrix-level reality distortions by claiming it was “wholly inaccurate to state our journalists have been urged to declare that this was not a terrorist act” – even though the memo said literally, exactly that, and in boldface type to boot. The CBC spokeswoman was effectively arguing there is a difference between refusing to call 9/11 a terrorist attack, and definitively stating that it was not one.
Kelly also tried to justify the memo by pointing out that CBC refused to call the October 7, 2023, atrocities perpetrated against Israel by Hamas “terrorism,” an argument that did not exactly provide the escalator ride out of the moral basement that she was hoping for. [...]
Outrage quickly boiled over on both sides of the border. Conservative MP Rachael Thomas pronounced the CBC memo “absolutely shameful,” and accused the outlet of “choosing to redefine terrorism in a way that downplays the atrocity of 9/11.”
“Refusing to call it an act of terrorism dishonors the victims, their families, the survivors, and the first responders who witnessed the horrors of that day,” Thomas wrote on X.
“9/11 was an act of terrorism. Full stop. Trying to sanitize or rewrite that history is deeply offensive and does a disservice to everyone who was affected by the attacks,” she concluded.
“What possible motive could there be for sanitizing the worst terrorist attack on American soil?” asked the social media account for the U.S. House Republicans, perhaps insinuating that Canada’s public broadcaster was behaving badly due to the trade dispute between the U.S. and Canada – although, in CBC’s defense on that point, it has clearly been working on whitewashing terrorism for many years now.
What this horrific info makes clear is that, if a news source like CBC's not willing to refer to October 7 as a terrorist attack, then it's a foregone conclusion they don't consider September 11 one either, and that a news channel that's anti-Israel is more than fully willing to be anti-American. If that's what their staff believes is "justified", that's exactly why they don't deserve an audience at all. A most repulsive channel that only gives Canada a bad name.
911 Families are speaking out, and rightfully objecting to having NYC's Muslim mayor Zohran Mamdani at the upcoming 911 Memorial service:
Families of 9/11 victims are demanding NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani be banned from the 25th anniversary of the attacks at Ground Zero, branding him an apologist for Islamic terror whose presence would be an insult to the memories of nearly 3,000 people murdered.
“Our objection is based on his public record — his failure to meaningfully acknowledge the horror of that day, and his employment of, support for, or association with individuals who have minimized 9/11, defended terrorists, or even suggested America ‘deserved’ the attacks,” said Giovanni Galante – whose 29-year-old wife Grace Catherine Galante was among 2,977 innocents killed by al-Qaeda terrorists.
Galante, 55, is one of the organizers of a petition drive that has collected over 1,100 signatures in a little over a week, including from at least 300 victims’ families.
Here's a link to the petition, which everybody who recognizes what's wrong with Mamdani should sign. And it's not just him who shouldn't be allowed at the 911 Memorial site and service. It's also anybody who blatantly voted for him to start with. All who voted for Mamdani did a terrible disservice to the victims of al Qaeda, should be ashamed of themselves, and have no business being anywhere near the site.
Some families of 9/11 victims don’t want commie Mayor Zohran Mamdani to attend the annual memorial for the New York City victims of the devastating Islamic jihad attack. And they have very good reasons for their opinion.
The 2026 memorial for the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks is of particular importance, because it will mark exactly 25 years. Naturally, some family members of those who died as a result of Islamic terrorism exactly a quarter century ago do not want an apologist for Islamic terrorism as a featured speaker at the memorial. Mamdani has defended jihadis, publicly joined prayers for killing infidels, appeared at events and mosques with pro-terror radicals, and fueled violent antisemitism. He represents the evil ideology that caused the al-Qaida 9/11 attacks.
That's precisely why he should be shunned. Here's more:
The petition catalogues a series of concerns about Mayor Mamdani, the city's first Muslim mayor, who has been in office since January.
Among them is his refusal to condemn the "globalise the intifada" rallying cry, and his association during last year's mayoral campaign with Imam Siraj Wahhaj - a Brooklyn cleric who was an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.
Petitioners also take issue with his appointment of Ramzi Kassem as the city's chief counsel, noting Kassem previously defended al-Qaeda terrorist Ahmed al-Darbi - who admitted involvement in a 2002 plot to bomb a French oil tanker.
Further grievances include Mayor Mamdani's endorsement of Democratic Socialist of America member Aber Kawas for a state Senate seat, despite her having once characterised the September 11 attacks as something "a couple of people did."
Cheri Sparacio, another organiser whose husband Thomas died in the attacks, said there were "so many other examples" of why his attendance would be "disrespectful" that "we couldn't fit them on the list."
The Staten Island resident pointed to the mayor's longstanding ties to left-wing influencer Hasan Piker, who once said America "deserved" the 2001 attacks.
Mamdani should be denaturalized and deported too, as should all the offenders he associated with. And any 911 Families who speak at the service should publicly condemn him in the sternest terms possible. Mamdani's colleagues, appointees and other associates who uphold evil like he does should also not be allowed at the 911 Memorial service.
On Sept. 11, 2001, nearly 3,000 Americans were murdered in the deadliest terrorist attack in our nation’s history. The World Trade Center towers collapsed in Lower Manhattan, the Pentagon was breached, and a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, became a graveyard for heroes who prevented even greater loss. The economic toll exceeded $100 billion. The psychological wound reshaped American life for a generation.
Now imagine those same three targets struck not by hijacked airliners but by nuclear devices.
Many hundreds of thousands—potentially upward of 800,000 in Manhattan alone—would die instantly in fireballs and blast waves. Hundreds of thousands more would suffer horrific burns and radiation poisoning. Firestorms would rage across dense urban cores. The financial heart of the free world would be paralyzed, the seat of American government devastated, and fallout would render swaths of our most populous regions uninhabitable for years. Trillions in economic damage, mass evacuations, overwhelmed hospitals, and a body count dwarfing 9/11 by orders of magnitude would follow.
That is not science fiction. That was the imminent risk a nuclear-armed Iran posed until the United States and Israel launched decisive military action on Feb. 28.
The ongoing war against the Islamic Republic is not the beginning of a conflict. It is the necessary end to one that has raged for 47 years.
He's absolutely correct. Have any of the RINOs opposing war against Iran's autocracy ever considered that? Let's be clear. If ground invasions are needed to put an end to any further horrors in the making, that's what must be done, and it's to be hoped the USA public understands that at this point, and will back the Trump administration on any decision they make in that context.
All these horrors could've been prevented long ago if anybody who actually cared had shown the courage to do so. Yet all these years, in one of the worst examples of history showing we don't learn lessons from the past, the cancer was allowed to metastisize, and regardless of the current situation and outcome, a horrific mess was left that will take ages to clean up. It's very fortunate the USA and Israeli militaries took up what missions they have so far, because sooner or later, wars to stop evil entities are entirely inevitable.
The principal of a Brooklyn middle school created controversy this week by turning down the opportunity to have a Holocaust survivor speak to students.
Mayor Eric Adams said in a statement Thursday that he has met with that survivor, Sami Steigmann, in the past, and that "he is absolutely the right person to speak with kids about the atrocities of the Holocaust."

Last month, a parent in the Boerum Hill section of the borough wrote Arin Rusch, the principal of Middle School 447, asking to bring Steigmann in as a speaker, saying he's "very relatable, especially with youth."
Rusch responded, in part, "We've had Holocaust survivors speak in the past," adding, "It can really help build empathy and counter antisemitism."
However, she also said, "In looking at his website materials, I also don't think that Sami's presentation is right for our public school setting, given his messages around Israel and Palestine. I'd love to explore other possible speakers."
"I wish I was able to talk to her to find out why she feels that way, what is the reason, because just being proud of being Jewish does not disqualify me to be a speaker," Steigmann said.
Based on what the principal brings up, it's clear on the one hand, she buys into the palestine propaganda as an Arab/Islamic state hook, line and sinker, and it wouldn't be shocking if she'd refuse to accept it was all a concoction of the Roman empire in remote times. On the other hand, she doubtless despises Mr. Steigman's respect for the actual country his ancestry originated from, and believes he's not allowed to be proud of his ethnicity. On which note:
On Steigmann's website, aside from two Q&A slides that have the Israeli flag as the backdrop, slide number 57 explains Zionism. One bullet point reads, "No other state would accept Jews before Israel was created, during the time of the Holocaust and beyond."
No doubt, she also opposes anything to do with Zionism, which is just a synonym for patriotism and nationalism. And this is also obviously the Zohran Mamdani effect, even before he's begun his term of office as NYC's first Muslim mayor.

"There seems to be a movement of separating Jews from Israel and now there seems to be a movement of separating the Holocaust from Jews and separating the Holocaust from Israel," Spern said. "We cannot allow New York City to continue down a path that censors and shuts out Jews for their viewpoints and especially Holocaust survivors."
I would also strongly recommend making a similar case for Armenian historians on Turkey's genocide during WW1, and 911 Families/survivors, who're doubtless censored and blacklisted by many school systems too in New York. Sadly, this is bound to get worse under the incoming Mamdani, and victims of October 7, 2023 could also be blacklisted.
In the meantime, the NY Post notes that without a doubt, Mamdani will also cancel an anti-BDS order issued by outgoing mayor Eric Adams. And while NY governor Kathy Hochul may have distanced herself from Mamdani's positions, it wouldn't be shocking if she took no proper action to prevent him from destroying NYC as he's bound to do soon enough.
Virginia’s largest school district will let students skip a presentation from a Holocaust survivor, saying the diverse district includes students with “different experiences.”
“We understand that all students have different experiences. If you prefer to opt your child out from participating in this presentation, please email your child’s history teacher and they will be provided an alternate assignment. Please email your child’s history teacher with any questions that you may have,” a letter from Cooper Middle School said.
The letter referred to a scheduled presentation from a Holocaust survivor to seventh-graders, according to Adele Scalia, a mother of one of those middle schoolers.
[...] Scalia said on social media that she is drawing “less charitable (but more likely) conclusions.” The Left has been pressured by Islamic extremists to demonize Israel following Hamas’ terrorist attacks on the Jewish nation on October 7, and liberals have used the same language of “colonization” and “oppression” that they apply to whites in the U.S. to Israelis.
“If the email had said ‘We understand that some students are very sensitive and Mrs. X’s stories my be disturbing and traumatizing to them…’ I would have given them the benefit of the doubt. But it didn’t,” Scalia wrote.
Fairfax County contains a hotbed of Muslim extremism. A mosque there, attended by several 9/11 hijackers as well as the Fort Hood terrorist, was presided over by the father of Abrar Omeish, who until this year was a member of the Fairfax County school board. Omeish voted against an FCPS resolution offering a moment of silence for victims of 9/11 and another for victims of October’s Hamas attacks on Israel, said the decisive World War II victor at Iwo Jima was “unfortunate,” and gave a graduation speech encouraging students to “remember your jihad” and reject capitalism.
This definitely says quite a bit, right down to how the manager of a mosque is allowed on the school board, and even desecrated the memory of 9-11 victims. This also makes clear the sad path the USA is regrettably headed on if something isn't done to put a stop to this indoctrination.
The opt-out of the Holocaust lesson in FCPS, whose school board is entirely Democrat, is a reversal from the Left’s position on opt-outs on topics like transgenderism and anti-racism, which typically holds that hard truths are often uncomfortable, that it is the role of a school to instill certain values, and that on some issues, there are not two sides, but only good and evil.
[...] With some people claiming that the Holocaust did not even occur, the lesson is one of the last chances to hear from someone who survived it first-hand, as survivors are perishing of old age.
Prior to the election of Republican Gov. Glenn Youngkin, a video promoted by Virginia’s state Department of Education, then presided over by Democrat Atif Qarni, sought to dampen the emotional resonance of 9/11, advising teachers not to call it “terrorism” and to focus on “anti-Muslim racism” while making sure not “to reproduce what’s understood as American exceptionalism.”
This is the most terrible part about Virgina, how, Youngkin's election notwithstanding, there remains a considerable amount of far-left influence, and now it's resulted in a truly awful situation. It's clear Virginia has a serious problem with misogyny, anti-Semitism, and the Religion of Peace is really going to make things awful soon enough. Maybe most grating about the whole matter is that, if LGBT ideology is cleared away from schools in Fairfax, it'll only be due to Muslim influence, not because Judeo-Christians, Hinduists and Buddhists ask for it to stop. That's one of the worst things about "protected class" statuses.
On September 10 in my American Government/Current Events class, I presented a very effective lesson on 9/11. I made the day “come alive” for my students and the parents who were sitting in on the class. Not a dry eye in the room by the time I was done.
I personalized the lesson with details that my students will never read in history books: the days-long chirping of those cell phones at Ground Zero, the very small body parts, the pink mist in the air, the several hours I spent as I awaited word of the fate of one of my friends in the Pentagon (He, a wonderful man with several kids and a disabled wife, was called out of the building, out of the very room that was destroyed, a few minutes before the plane struck), the children who perished in the day care center at the Pentagon, tales of recovery personnel and what they went through in those weeks following 9/11, the anthrax attacks (the devil in the mail box), the many lost freedoms and the many resulting inconveniences, how this generation will never be as free as my generation, the travesty of the Flight 93 Memorial, and more — including the whitewash of Islam and my anger at today’s dhimmitude and political correctness.
I spoke without notes.
I spoke from the heart.

For this tenth anniversary of 9/11, as Barack Hussein Obama and a whole raft of others try to sing kumbaya with the Islamic world, we see that the left would like for all of us to forget 9/11 and ignore the still-present threat of Islamic terrorism.
I won't.
Not ever.
No matter how much revisionism is tossed out there for the dhimmis to suck up — even as the Ground Zero Mosque rises above the World Trade Center in New York City on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of 9/11 is used as a fundraiser for that Islamic center.
Never forget what happened on that day of cerulean and cloudless skies — cloudless until the smoke billowed from three sites: the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and Shanksville.
Never forget that on this tenth anniversary of 9/11, by order of Mayor Bloomberg, the first responders on that day will be denied admission to the 9/11 National Memorial in New York City. The President has turned the commemoration of 9/11 into a day of community service instead of a solemn commemoration that focuses on the events of that day (Alinsky Rule #6). And a few weeks before 9/11, the Empire State Building was, once again, bathed in the light of Islamic green. Not to mention this inclusion in the 9/11 Memorial in New York City: this hardhat with an Obama symbol on it.
The attack on the Pentagon is all but forgotten in several respects. The official memorial built in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, is a betrayal.

Ernest James is the 1629th victim to be identified; some 1121 victims have not been identified, and the forensic experts are not yet halfway through the 21,000 fragments of human remains retrieved for testing. Many human remains have not been, and never will be, recovered.
Remember 9/11, that day of horror: where you were, what you were doing before and after the attacks, the shock and the sorrow and the rage you felt.
And remember that the Sons of Allah would again do the same — or worse — if they could.

On the morning of the 9/11 anniversary, it's expected all the local stations will once again go wall-to-wall with coverage of the name-reading ceremony at Ground Zero.
They'll do as they have for the previous seven anniversaries, tossing out commercials and carrying the coverage until the last victim's name is read.
However, there's a growing reluctance to do so, one partly driven by money.
"This is crazy," said one station insider. "Nobody wants to be the first to pull out."
From a moral standpoint, station officials know well that airing the ceremony is the right thing to do. The ceremony is New York, and it has been an emotional event each time before.
The sad thing is that sooner or later, they will stop giving the serious coverage they are to the 9-11 Memorial, and the public's memories could fade even more. All because of money.
More than 800 World Trade Center rescue and recovery workers have died since 9/11 -- and cancer has killed at least 270 of those heroes, new data show.
The figures also show that 33 WTC responders committed suicide.
State researchers have tallied 817 deaths of workers and volunteers who toiled at toxic Ground Zero or the Fresh Kills landfill, where rubble was sifted.
This is simply terrible, and that's why everything must be done to remind all future generations about this. It cannot be forgotten.
On this eighth anniversary of 9/11, I remember Anthony DiOnisio, Jr., vice president of operations at Cantor Fitzgerald, where he had worked since 1987. He worked at the World Trade Center in 1993, when the first attack occurred there.
Mr. DiOnisio perished at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. Final services were held at St. Catherine's Roman Catholic Church on September 29, 2001.
It's now at least 7 years since the disaster. Here's an article (via Michelle Malkin) about ordinary citizens doing their part to ensure that such disasters don't happen again.

The JTA reports that calls have been made for the arrest of Ahmedinejad, something I said two days ago should be done:
Israel and its allies say they want Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad arrested when he arrives next week in New York for the United Nations General Assembly.
On Monday, a team of lawyers and diplomats who want Ahmadinejad tried for inciting genocide will call on the U.S. Department of Justice to arrest the Iranian president when he lands on American soil. The call comes as Jewish groups are preparing for a full-court press on the Iran issue in meetings planned with world leaders gathered for the yearly assembly. Also on Monday, a protest rally is planned across from U.N. Headquarters.
"He is an international war criminal," said Harvard Law School Professor Alan Dershowitz. "He has repeatedly violated the anti-genocide convention. He is as guilty as the Rwandans who are convicted and sentenced to years in prison for inciting genocide."
In recent days, Israel's ambassador to the U.N., Dan Gillerman, has also called for Ahmadinejad to be arrested and put on trial for incitement to genocide.
Ahmadenijad's visit has been roiling New York for days. A scheduled appearance at Columbia University has prompted calls for the school to rescind the invitation. Columbia refused, invoking the principle of free speech. And an uproar over the Iranian president's request to visit Ground Zero caused a swift reaction from the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, which condemned reports that the New York City Police Department intended to provide him with an honor escort. Within hours, the department clarified that it had denied the request, an announcement duly welcomed by Jewish leaders.
Nobody with common sense should give donations to Columbia U. for as long as shady people like Lee Bollinger are going to run it. If they go through with their invitation to this monster, that's exactly why any and all who disapprove should have nothing to do with them. All that talk of "free speech" is decidedly a weak excuse.
By arresting Ahmedinejad, the west could score a victory in the war on terror by weakening Iran significantly, as their horrible head of horror would be "cut off". The US would be strongly advised to take action to cuff him upon arrival and try him for war crimes, planned and current, and imprison him in a dungeon, and not to let any ditherings of anti-war activists and corrupt UN officials perturb them. Then, a takeover of Iran could possibly be easier, as well as establishing a more reasonable government there.
