i made a digital creation for this challenge which i am also linking up to "peace and tranquility" at moo mania and more.

although this is a digital creation i made it in the proper dimensions for a "moo" which is approximately 1.1 x 2.8 inches.

other than the background digital paper and the starlight effect in the background, all other images are from the "blue christmas" digital kit by gecko galz.

our animal angels

the new challenge at tag tuesday is "cats."
i think our cats are our angels and i think angels watch over our cats! my dear gilda has been gone several years now and i have not added a new animal companion to our home.
i enjoy living through the cats of my friends and the ones in our art!

"the tramp"

the theme at sunday postcard art this week is charlie chaplin. i remember seeing some of his movies many years ago and i was curious about his life so i read up on him. he was a talented and controversial figure, he grew up in poverty and definitely played out those themes of poverty using his persona "the tramp" in his movies. i found several images of charlie chaplin on pixabay that inspired my contribution to the challenge this week.

for the first one i wanted to give him a happy and hopeful background -- charlie chaplin had a really tough life, living in workhouses as a child, having his mother committed to an asylum. i put him on this yellow brick road background from marta van eck's "oz" with happy bits from retired tumblefish studio kits. the charlie is from gerhard gellinger on pixabay.

this one is a bit more somber, although i also used one of the marta van eck "oz" backgrounds but i turned it black and white. this charlie is also from pixabay by mohammed hassan. there are some other images here, a rose, dragonfly, etc., i forgot which kits they came from.
