MM190, OLCCC25 - Cool Yule

I have loved this Beatnik Santa image since he was released along with some really fun sentiments to match. This time, I paired him with an old A Muse Art Stamps sentiment.

I am linking this very simple card up to Merry Monday and One-Layer Christmas Card Challenge and also participating in #thedailymarker30day colouring challenge.

I used
-Ellen Hutson's  Tis the Season
-retired sentiment
-Copics
-Stickles

MM161, OLCCC11 - Merry Christmas

This is my card for two 'other' Christmas challenges, Merry Monday and One-Layer Christmas Card Challenge. My Muse: ChristmasVisions card will be posted here later in the week.

I stamped an old Impress Rubber Stamps poinsettia down the full left side of the card (front and back) before I scored and folded it. I used Real Red ink.

I used a couple of cut-up sentiments to create this one - the Merry is from Papertrey and the Christmas is from Gina K. Finally, I cut tiny dots out of Champagne shimmer paper using a die from MFT's Blueprints 25 for the poinsettia centres.

MCV2, OLCCC9 - Angel

This is my card for our second Muse: ChristmasVisions challenge, where DT member Chriss Blagrave has given us this inspiration:

and also for the current One Layer Christmas Card Challenge, which is 'anything goes' with angel as an optional twist.

I used Chriss' layout and a similar colour scheme - my golden Artful Stamper angel and Verve sentiment are embossed using 'Gold Pearl' embossing powder. To keep the card one-layer and to incorporate the teal of Chriss' inspiration, I sponged a strip of Tumbled Glass.

SSSCAS, OLCCC8 - We Wish You A Merry Christmas

So for some reason, yesterday I felt like making a Christmas card. I'm thinking it might have had something to do with the launch of Muse: ChristmasVisions (if you didn't see the news, check it out!). Thank you so much for such a warm reception  - lots of comments and new followers and I can tell you that the team just can't wait to start inspiring you on May 6! But we'll do some introductions before then  - we're bursting with our Christmas 'secret'! Our first DT Member will be announced next Wednesday, April 29 at 9 am.

As I visited various sites yesterday, Simon Says Stamp's Wednesday CAS challenge caught my eye. CAS and use Hero Arts - right up my alley. And One Layer Christmas Card Challenge had a new one up as well - anything goes with the option of a tree.

I used a Hero Arts tree (SU! Mossy Meadow ink) and Hero Arts sentiment (HA Red Royal). And then I did something I haven't done in a long, long time. I used my Zig Painty pen. Do you remember those? Silver on one end and gold on the other? The perfect tool for adding tiny shimmery gold 'ornaments' to my tree.
