Все равно спасибо - я свежим идеям только рад, ибо свои закончились.
Уже думаю найти еще один ноутбучный винт, поставить его, установить Win
и попробовать как там это дело работает. Может модем левый, а может и в
Linux дело...
А по поводу набора, у меня есть вот такой вот chat скрипт, который
работает без проблем уже года 2 как на МТС:
