Here are a few of Sasuke’s favourite strategies.

When you land in Hidden Leaf Village, you’ll find that Hokage Rock and Ichiraku Ramen are key strategic positions, not just iconic references. Sasuke advises players to locate nearby cover, evaluate sightlines and draw up escape routes before jumping into scavenging mode – all while staying alert for random rogue ninjas. Don’t forget to keep an eye out for fun details such as silhouettes of Naruto and Sasuke in the Valley of the End, or other characters that may show up at Ichiraku Ramen.

This update introduces a Ninjutsu system that adds additional strategic possibilities to the gun-dominated combat. Sasuke notes a few skills that are particularly valuable in battle:

Defence and distraction: Learn Earth Style: Mud Wall from Kakashi to provide cover to your teammates even in the open. And with Multiple Shadow Clone Jutsu, you can deceive enemies, create chaos and help your team set up in a spot.

Area control: Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu is best used to force the enemy away from cover and create pressure in confined spaces.

Explosive assault: Choose Rasengan and Chidori to inflict heavy damage at close range. On the other hand, the nimble mobility of Flying Raijin Jutsu can turn the tide of battle in the blink of an eye.

Teamwork is the key to defeating the powerful Nine-Tails. Concentrate your firepower on its weak points while rationing your munition is the best way to defeat ordinary Nine-Tails and absorb Chakra for improved Ninjutsu. If you trigger a game-wide Berserker Nine-Tails hunt, then the battle’s victory conditions will eventually switch to defeating Nine-Tails.

Sasuke recommends proactive team-wide communication to determine each player’s role. Some should provide cover and draw fire, while those with high burst skills should bide their time and look for the best time to attack. Even in defeat, a battle with Nine-Tails will trigger an exclusive video of the Fourth Hokage coming to your rescue.
