Many people compare this to Genshin, mainly because of how it is made by the same developer. However people need to leave the gameplay comparisons at that. The games are different and if the gameplay is not your style, leave it at that, not every game suits everyone! The character designs are absolutely phenomenal however many of the female characters are VERY fan service-y, See Black Swan, Xueyi, Sparkle and Tingyuns Very similar promiscuous splash-arts and many of The female belebog characters impractical outfits, however I’m splitting hairs here as for the most part the character designs and Splash arts are beautiful to look at.Similarly the animations are incredible, highlighting all of the characters unique personalities and being generally very different animations, bare a few. I also heavily appreciate the amount of end-game content aswell, something many long lasting gachas can tend to suffer from. The addition of these end game game modes have also made it so you can’t really just have a “one team fits all” approach with different characters being more viable in some game modes and less in other (*cough cough* Herta)However with this being said I am worried about earlier released characters becoming less viable as the game goes on, through powercreep. As this sort of thing is very common in gacha games and you can even see it now with Ruan-Mei and Sparkle both being seemingly Meta-defining units, and Acheron from the looks of it appears to be very powerful but we will have to see.On the whole the game is a joy to play both as a full time gacha game (like that of Genshin) or a part time gacha game (Like Reverse: 1999) this is due to how forgiving the game is with its gacha currency and its relic system.

As someone that came from Genshin impact, I can say this game didn’t disappoint me, I also feel getting wishes is much easier then Genshin impact, but it still can’t beat it. I just wish that you can fight while moving around like you could in Genshin and Honkai but I can understand they would want to change it. The game is still pretty new though so I’m excited for what’s coming next.

This game is awesome!!! The graphics are amazing, the music is outstanding and the characters are all so wonderful and unique. I was also surprised by how detailed this game is. From the different dialogue options to the interactive objects to the hidden easter eggs, it makes for a truly immersive experience. Another thing I appreciated was the number of rewards and pulls given on release. Honkai: Star rail is slowly becoming one of my favourite Hoyoverse games and I strongly recommend anyone contemplating whether or not they should play to just go and do it, you won't regret it!!

I’m a player who started this game from playing previous games by Hoyoverse. All I’ve got to say is, if your thinking of playing it, do it. Graphics are beyond incredible and storyline is both interesting and engaging. Brilliant character designs and even more fantastic are the voice actors. Although, storage is a major issue. It takes up plenty of space and every update adds more. Other than that, I love it!
