In its inaugural season in the Pac-12, the Bobcats will host Colorado State, Utah State, Fresno State and Washington State, while traveling to San Diego State, Boise State and Oregon State.

The Agriculture Business Club at TXST will host the Texas Hill Country Card Show on April 25 at Strahan Arena. The event brings together collectors, vendors, students, and sports fans from across Texas for a full day dedicated to sports cards, Pokémon, memorabilia, and collectibles.
The show is part of a broader initiative called Cardonomics, led by Dr. Jesse Backstrom, which studies the economics of non-traditional asset markets and how prices form in decentralized marketplaces. Students gain hands-on experience in market design, entrepreneurship, negotiation, and applied economic research.
The event also promotes the intersection of economics research, sports card collecting, and Texas State athletics, and creates a unique space where students can study real-world marketplace behavior while engaging with the broader sports community.
Attendees can explore vendor tables featuring vintage and modern sports cards, trading cards, memorabilia, and sealed products.
