What is Suki AI?
Suki AI is an ambient clinical documentation platform for clinicians that captures patient conversations in real time and turns them into structured notes, patient instructions, and staged orders. It combines Ambient Documentation, Assisted Revenue Cycle, Clinical Reasoning, High-quality notes, and Voice-enabled pre-charting, and integrates with Epic, Oracle Health, athenahealth, MEDITECH, Azalea Health, and MEDENT. It serves 400+ healthcare systems and partners, supports 100+ specialties and 80 languages.
What it does and who sells it
Suki Assistant listens to a patient encounter and turns it into a structured clinical note, staged orders, and patient instructions, plus ICD-10/HCC/CPT/E&M coding support. It's built and sold by Suki AI, Inc. (Redwood City, CA), founded and led by CEO Punit Soni; the company also sells the underlying speech and clinical-language model as 'Suki for Partners,' an API/SDK platform that other healthtech vendors (EHRs, telehealth, care-management, revenue-cycle products) embed into their own apps rather than Suki shipping a first-party product. That dual model — direct-to-clinician app plus white-label platform for other vendors — is the clearest structural difference from most ambient-scribe competitors, which mostly sell only the former. Partners publicly named include HealthEdge, Sevocity, Zoom, WellSky, Azalea Health, MEDENT and AvaSure ([2], [8]).
EHR integration — the main thing to check before buying
Suki advertises 'deep, real-time' integration with four EHRs — Epic, Oracle Health, athenahealth and MEDITECH — with notes, orders and coding flowing back without copy-paste, plus narrower integrations with Azalea Health, MEDENT and Sevocity through named partnerships ([1], [2]). The depth of that integration (what write-back actually covers — notes only, or notes plus orders plus coding, in your specific EHR build) is the detail that most determines day-one clinician adoption and is exactly the kind of thing that varies by health-system configuration rather than being uniform across the EHR as a whole. We could not verify integration depth beyond what Suki states on its own site; a buyer should get this confirmed against their own EHR instance before rollout, not assume the marketing page describes their build.
Pricing is not public
Suki has no public pricing page (suki.ai/pricing returns a 404); the site's only call to action is 'Contact Us' for a sales conversation. This is standard for enterprise ambient-documentation vendors selling into health systems — the comparable products (Nuance DAX Copilot, Abridge, Ambience) are similarly sales-led — but it means a buyer cannot compare cost per clinician or per encounter without engaging sales, and the listing has nothing to anchor on.
Security and compliance claims
Suki states its platform is 'SOC2 Type 2 certified, and HIPAA compliant' with end-to-end encryption, repeated on both the marketing site and its partner developer documentation ([1], [4]). It also operates a Vanta-hosted trust center at trust.suki.ai, which is consistent with holding a current SOC 2 report, but that page renders its control and certification list client-side and returned no content to a direct or proxied fetch, so we could not independently confirm the report's scope, auditor, or issue date — only that the trust center exists and the certification claim is made in multiple places. Buyers who need the actual SOC 2 report or its scope should request it directly rather than relying on the badge.
Vendor-reported outcomes
Suki's site cites an 81% increase in practice satisfaction, a 41% reduction in time spent on notes, a 60% reduction in feelings of burnout, a 48% reduction in amended encounters, and a $1,688 average increase in incremental monthly revenue per user [1]. These are Suki's own figures — the site does not name the studies, sample sizes, or methodology behind them, and we found no independent, peer-reviewed, or health-system-published validation of any of these numbers. Treat them as vendor claims about the product's effect, not as independently confirmed results.
Developer platform for partners
Suki for Partners is a genuinely built-out developer product, not a marketing placeholder: public documentation at developer.suki.ai covers REST APIs and SDKs (Web, React/headless, iOS) across four workflows (ambient documentation, form filling, dictation, patient summaries), with a changelog, an RSS release feed, and a stated 2–4 week typical partner integration time versus 6–12 months to build the equivalent in-house ([4], developer.suki.ai/updates/changelogs). This is a real strength for healthtech companies evaluating build-vs-buy for ambient AI, and it's unusually transparent documentation for a healthcare vendor.
Company, backers and recent activity
Suki is backed by Venrock, First Round, Flare Capital Partners, March Capital, Hedosophia, and (per its investor logos) Philips Ventures and Zoom Ventures ([7], [8]). We could not establish total funding raised or a current valuation from a primary source and are not publishing a figure. Recent product activity is frequent and substantive rather than roadmap talk: an 'Ask' clinical-decision-support feature built on Wolters Kluwer's UpToDate, launched October 8, 2026; a research initiative called 'Science at Suki,' launched September 10, 2026; recognition as a 'Transformational Innovation Leader in Ambient Clinical Intelligence' from Frost & Sullivan, announced September 1, 2026; and a nursing-focused consortium with health systems including McLeod Health, Citizens Memorial, Boone Health and Fisher-Titus, launched October 2025 ([9], [8]).
