What if a bar was designed around what you hear before what you see? At Saikindō, AvroKO’s Bangkok Studio takes Japan’s listening-bar culture seriously. Timber speaker forms are built into the walls, acoustics shape the room, vinyl drives the atmosphere, and even the cocktails translate musical tempo and tone into flavour. Four Seasons describes the space as an immersive hi-fi lounge, while Saikindō says its wooden speaker domes are specifically tuned to distribute sound evenly through the rooms. EuroTech ME is proud to have been part of Gloria Osteria Dubai at The Ritz-Carlton, DIFC, providing audiovisual design and consultancy services for the venue. The proposed solutions were developed to support the restaurant’s daily operations and lively atmosphere, while fitting naturally within its bold, 1970s-inspired interior.
Opening a global restaurant brand in Dubai is one challenge. Delivering it on behalf of an international client, inside a live five-star hotel, is another entirely. We're taking a look back at Gloria Osteria, Big Mamma Group's first restaurant in Dubai, located within The Ritz-Carlton, DIFC, a project we are immensely proud of 😍 For international brands entering a new market, success depends on having the right team on the ground. A team that understands the local landscape, manages complexity, and gives clients confidence that every aspect of the project is being looked after, even when they're thousands of miles away. At Carter Hones Associates, we were proud to act as Big Mamma Group's trusted delivery partner, providing Project and Cost Management from concept through to completion. Working closely with the client and the wider consultant team, we helped coordinate every stage of the project, ensuring the brand's vision, programme and quality standards were successfully delivered in the Middle East.
