Our summer has been off to a GREAT start! We’ve spent a lot of time in the

Hopefully we’ll get to do some of this before the summer’s over
We’re trying to make the most of our last summer here on the East Coast.
How is it already the end of the school year? I feel like this year went by so fast. I can’t believe my first class at Primrose has graduated from preschool. They did really well at their graduation program (aside from those few behavior glitches that I’ll choose to ignore). They sang some fun songs and then had a ceremony. I’m so proud of all my kids and know they will do so great next year.

Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens has a butterfly exhibit going on right now. I love how close you can get to all the different types of butterflies, especially since the pictures turn out so much better!
And I couldn’t resist taking some pictures of my favorite flower.

We love Carytown!! Memorial Day weekend we went there twice. The first time we went to dinner and a movie ( the second time was for our “photo shoot”)
We went to dinner at New York Deli. It was really good. My favorite part was the fries. Any place that has GOOD fries has me coming back for more. That’s probably the only reason I let Matt take me to Arby’s – LOVE their curly fries!
We got the Hawaiian pita pizza and bbq pork sandwich. Both were delicious! 
Before the movie we stopped at one of the coolest toy stores in Richmond. And now we have a lovely cardboard rhino head mounted on our wall. Matt had so much fun putting it together but wishes it wasn’t so easy for him.
We went to the wonderful Byrd Theater for Coraline. It was pretty good, for $2, but we decided we probably won’t buy it.
