adafrog*First week back to work was interesting. Some things I need to deal with-personnel wise. We finally hired a nurse to fill the spot that C left.
*I feel a little bad that I didn't make my blog post this week, but when I'm home I don't like to do work things, so I didn't read anything. lol But will post on Monday or Tuesday. mariadageorgemd.com About pediatric things.

*Watched PREDATOR!! Been a long time since I've watched a movie opening weekend. I was suspicious when someone said it had funny parts, but it totally did.
It had a different tone than the previous ones-especially apart from the AVP ones. More light-could see the whole predator.
In general I thought it was good, although they did change some of the mythos, I think. Although I prefer to think of it as differing political factions. Also, I usually think of Predators similar to Godzilla - they're not technically on our side, but we're generally thinking the same things. So, throughout the movie I was wondering who they wanted me to think the 'good guys' and the 'bad guys' were. Or maybe they meant me to be confused.
I really wish at some point we would find out more about the Predators - besides the fact that I adore world building - so we could see what's going on on their home planet/system. They have sort of a klingon vibe, although as far as I know klingons don't sport hunt.
BTW, the lead lady was awesome.
Also, loved the dogs. Hated the big guy. (you'll get it if you see it)
Oh, and the technology on the ship!! Before he went atmo, he activated an electrical-ish shield around the ship. That totally would protect the ship from the little micrometeors and shit that it might encounter in space! Science FTW!
*Watched the first AHS - Apocalypse. Very weird. Almost could be set any 19th century place, in a way. I suppose they all have that feel? I've never really seen a whole episode before.
Also, the end of the first episode was weird and also weird.
