For the first time, the three constituent nations of the UK are held by pro-separation parties.
The Telegraph reported sources as saying that the summit's purpose is to pile more pressure on Prime Minister Andy Burnham after he said in the parliament on Wednesday that he would back another Scottish independence referendum if public opinion backed one.
A source close to Swinney told the newspaper that Burnham "fucked up" by making the comment and unionists should be very worried.
The source further said: "Burnham has not read his brief and doesn't seem to know the basics of the UK Government's position on the Union. If I was a Unionist, I would be very worried."Ahead of the summit, Swinney said that Burnham was "facing up to the idea that he will go down in history as the final prime minister of the United Kingdom".
Swinney said that that, for the first time, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland are led by pro-independence parties, and "there could be no clearer sign that the status quo is not sustainable and that Westminster must prepare for a post-UK future".

The separatist movements in the UK have picked up pace lately as US President Donald Trump has ramped up his anti-British campaign. After threatening to back Argentina in the campaign to wrest the Falkland Islands off the UK, he has now supported Northern Ireland's separation from the UK and merger with Ireland.
Meanwhile, EU leader and Bond villain Ursula Von Leyden has offered Canada an "associate membership" in the EU, which means that they get no advantages at all but get to be ruled over by Ursula and her 400 MEP besties, which is the same deal all actual EU members get.
And there is no such thing as an "associate member."
Brussels was hit with a furious backlash today after announcing unprecedented plans for Canada to become an 'associate member' of the bloc -- without asking EU capitals to sign off on the proposal.EU diplomats told the Mail they were kept in the dark and first learnt of the proposal when Ursula von der Leyen, the EU Commission boss, unveiled it during a keynote speech.
During the top Eurocrat's annual State of the Union speech to the European Parliament, she repeatedly love-bombed Canadian premier Mark Carney -- who was in the chamber -- saying Brussels wanted 'to bring the relationship with Canada to the highest level possible.'
But to the surprise of diplomats from the EU's 27 member nations, who would have to sign off the move, she gushed: 'Dear Mark, I said we must urgently reimagine our partnerships. So, I would like to work with you on opening the door for Canada to be the first associate member of the EU.
'We share one ocean, one set of values, one way of seeing the world. And we will now build our shared future as well -- thank you for being here.'
But the attempt to flatter the former Governor of the Bank of England backfired, with diplomats saying they were never briefed about the proposal and that, in effect, 'associate membership' doesn't even exist.
EU diplomats accused Brussels of 'over-reach', an accusation often levelled against Eurocrats by UK Brexiteers before Britain left the bloc.
One EU diplomat told the Mail: 'This bombastic announcement is just not right.
'There will be a summit at the end of October, so logically they will talk about deepening the relations.
'But no one has ever seen an associate membership and no idea what it means in practice. Canada is a valuable partner for the EU, one of the few currently in the world where we share the values, so it is nothing against Canada.
'But first and foremost the member states should be the ones to express what kind of relationship the EU wants to have with any third country.'
Another added: 'She kept this bit of associate membership out of the text until the last moment. She also did not mention it up front to EU member states.
'It seems like she is a bit too far out in floating this. Everyone is positive about Canada, and wants to strengthen the relationship.
'But there is a lot of uncertainty about what von der Leyen envisages by coining this label.'
Trump has reasserted the old Monroe Doctrine, stating that the western hemisphere is the US's sphere of influence, and rejected Europe's attempt to colonize the west.

US Poverty Rate Falls to Lowest Level In History

The U.S. poverty rate edged down to the lowest on record in 2025, while median household income hit a record high, the Census Bureau said on Tuesday. There were 34.5 million people in poverty in 2025, the agency said.The decline marked the second consecutive annual drop in the poverty rate and brought it to its lowest level since the bureau began tracking the measure. It came as policymakers debate the impact of federal spending cuts on safety-net programs.
The poverty rate -- the percentage of people living in poverty -- dipped 0.5 percentage point to 10.2% last year, the bureau said. The supplemental measure of poverty, which takes into account non-cash government benefits and taxes, was at 13.1%, and the median household income increased 2.6% to $87,460.
The media very begrugingly stated that the poverty rate fell, but only "slightly, and then added that "experts" "fear the worse" is still to come.
Compare that to how they reported child poverty falling under Biden.
And also note that child poverty under Trump has fallen to the lowest level in recorded history, which they don't bother underlining.

Paramount/Skydance to California: Drop Dead

Paramount is being bullied by California AG Rob Bonta in a lawsuit 12 other left-wing AGs have joined to stop Paramount's acquisition of Warner Bros. As I've mentioned, they are animated by the all-but-admitted position that conservatives just aren't allowed to own major media companies, or just non-gonzo-liberals, as David Ellison seems to be. They are blocking the completion of the purchase so that the company they prefer to take over Warner Bros., the super-left-wing Netflix, can buy it instead.
Which shows their complaints about anti-trust and "reducing competition in the industry" to be, as usual, communist lies.
This is a particularly bad hostage situation for Paramount, who, as part of its offer to buy Warner Bros,, promised to pay Discovery Warner shareholders seven million dollars per day if it was not able to complete the purchase by October 1. Rob Bonta and his Soros AG goons are trying to delay this to either punish Paramount for daring to be owned by a non-liberal, or punish them so badly they agree to undo the deal entirely.
In response, Paramount threatened to leave California and take Warner Bros. with it. A move that some estimate would save them a half a billion per year in taxes.
They said they would move their corporate headquarters by October 1 unless Bonta and the League of Soros AGs allowed the sale.
Now Paramount is showing that they're not bluffing.
Paramount Skydance is actively looking for office space in Nashville -- a sign the company is seriously considering moving at least some operations from Los Angeles amid the legal fight over its purchase of Warner Bros. Discovery, according to two people familiar with the search who were granted anonymity to discuss it.Paramount, headquartered in Hollywood, has sought about 400,000 square feet of space in the Tennessee capital that it could move into in two to three years, according to one of the people. However, no existing building there has a vacancy that aligns with the company's needs and timeline, the person said.
Representatives of the studio have also reached out to at least two real estate developers about constructing new offices in Nashville that the company could occupy in three years, the person said. Paramount representatives were recently shown a vacant multi-acre parcel outside of downtown Nashville where the company could build new headquarters, according to the other person with knowledge of the matter.

"His intent is to be committed to California," Paramount Chief Legal Officer Makan Delrahim said of Paramount Skydance CEO David Ellison at POLITICO's The California Agenda: Sacramento Summit in August. But, Delrahim noted, "There is a point at which you have a fiduciary duty to shareholders."
..."We cannot comment on a company's plans," Bonta's office said in a statement. "It's no secret that Paramount has been making this threat, despite its alleged commitment to California and Hollywood. What Paramount decides to do is Paramount's choice alone. We'll continue to apply the law without fear or favor and continue to be open to coming to the table for good faith discussions."
The lawsuit is scheduled to go to trial in March. Starting in October, Paramount will have to pay roughly $7 million for each day the $111 billion deal remains incomplete. Regulatory agencies of more than 60 countries and jurisdictions have approved the merger, and the U.S. Department of Justice approved the sale in June.
I thought that Nashville, not Austin, would be the city Paramount/Warner Bros. moves to. Because it has long been the capital of the country music recording industry, it already has the infrastructure needed to support entertainment types, by which I mean, a robust cocaine distribution network and discrete high-end prostitutes.
The move could be so disastrous for the already-desolated California that even Gavin Newsom and Karen Bass are calling for a "compromise" settlement. I don't know what they have in mind, but I would guess they want a guarantee that Paramount/Skydance will sell CNN, HBO, and CBS to friendly leftwing interests. There is no way Paramount/Skydance would sell HBO or CBS, but I imagine they already plan to sell off CNN.

Study: Blue States with Strong Teachers Unions Influence Have, for Some Reason, the Lowest Student Literacy Rates in the Nation

You know those teachers unions only care about the kids.
It's all about the kids, you know. When they shut down the schools for a year and a half so that teachers could sit at home on their asses and literally phone in their lessons, that was all for the kids, too.
Their lazy, greedy stance has resulted in the worst literacy rates in the nation.
Blue states with strong teachers' unions overwhelmingly have worse student literacy scores than Republican states where educators don't have as much say over policy, a shocking new analysis found.
This is a novel use of the word "shocking" I wasn't previously aware of.
At least eight of the ten states where students had the worst literacy scores were liberal strongholds with politically powerful teachers' unions, while just five were Republican and one was a swing state, a recent assessment from the Progressive Policy Institute (PPI) found.New York -- where more than half of third- to fifth grade students failed their reading proficiency exams this year -- was among the worst-performing states, and also had some of the strongest teachers' unions.
The top-performing states, meanwhile, were overwhelmingly conservative and had less politically powerful unions -- of the 23 top-performing states, 13 were Republican majority and just 4 were Democratic hubs.
Even with the findings stretched out to the top 32 best-scoring states, a mere 7 were Democratic states and only four of them were ranked in the 25th percentile for teachers' union power, according to the Wall Street Journal.

And Canter's study found one overwhelming and shocking throughline -- the stronger the state's teachers' union the worse its student literacy scores were, results which did not exclusively follow party lines but strongly trended that way and often to the detriment of Democrats.
"Democrats, however, don't often ask me how to replicate Mississippi's success," Canter said. "They ask if it's possible at all, given the power of teachers' unions in their home states."

"We found a strong, negative correlation between the two -- the more powerful the unions, the fewer literacy policy principles the state had adopted," Canter said.
In New York state, they've decided they will just stop teaching students and, so parents won't know, they'll stop administering the Regents Exam, which tests for minimum educational achievement at graduation.
Not enough students from "different communities" were passing the minimum standards exam, while Asian students passed at a rate of 86% and white students at 87%.
So instead of solving the problem, or at least ameliorating it, they'll just destroy all records of their failure.
What is more shocking is that a board member of the Regents exam explains that asking black and Hispanic kids to pass a minimum-competency test is like... testing a fish to see if it can climb a tree. Fish can't climb trees, and therefore, she implies, black and Hispanic kids are just not capable of passing a minimum-standards test and should be excused from doing so.

By Tristin HopperA Haitian woman who disfigured a stranger in a Montreal-area biting attack has been given a reduced sentence by a Quebec judge on the grounds that a harsher prison term would endanger her "precarious immigration status."
Just two days after Christmas in 2022, Macdala Monfiston spent eight minutes viciously attacking a woman outside a bar in Laval, Que., leaving the victim with bite marks all over her arms and face.Court records described one of the facial wounds as being "several centimetres long, necessitating repeated treatments and leaving a prominent scar."
Video of the assault obtained by The Journal de Montreal shows Monfiston pulling the victim's hair, kicking her motionless form on the ground and straddling her body while biting at her face.
"When I tell people I was bit, they ask me what kind of animal, if it was by a pit bull. They can't believe it's a person who did this to me," the victim told the paper in a French-language interview.
Although good Samaritans attempted to intervene, they were held back by Monfiston's boyfriend.
After Monfiston pleaded guilty to aggravated assault in early 2025, a Court of Quebec judge sentenced her to four years in prison -- the sentence already a fraction of the maximum 14-year sentence set for the crime under the Criminal Code.But in a decision released this week, the Quebec Court of Appeal ruled that four years was too harsh, in part because it could possibly get her deported.
Under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, anyone jailed for longer than two years is deemed guilty of "serious criminality," and loses their appeal rights in the case of a removal order.
"The prison sentence has a much greater impact on the defendant than on other offenders who might have committed similar acts," reads the French-language decision, rendered on Sept. 14 by appeals court judges Suzanne Gagné, Christine Baudouin and Genevieve Marcotte.
I'm done with Canada. I'm done with Europe.

Kathy Hochul's pardon travesty lifts immigrant criminals over Americans' safetyBy Daniel McCarthy
How far will New York Gov. Kathy Hochul go to keep immigrant criminals in this country?
So far she'll even pardon a man convicted of an aggravated felony, if that's what it takes to prevent the US Supreme Court from setting a restrictionist precedent.
Keisy Guerrero Mariano is a Dominican who spent two years in prison for committing a violent crime -- second-degree assault.
Guerrero Mariano, known as "G.M." in court documents, is exactly the sort of lawbreaker Americans overwhelmingly want to see deported.
But not Hochul; she granted him clemency on Aug. 28.
His case stood out from those of the other five people she pardoned that day.
The others were non-violent offenders who'd committed their crimes decades ago -- two in the 1980s, two in the '90s, and just one as recently as 2007.
G.M. was convicted in 2015.
Yet the governor decided he merited special leniency, for political reasons.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested G.M. in 2020, intending to deport him based on his criminal record.
ICE had to let him go in 2022, however, because of a nationwide injunction related to COVID that required the agency to review custody of individuals with certain medical conditions.
While ICE had him, though, G.M.'s lawyers challenged the agency's right to hold him for a prolonged time without a bond hearing.
That's what Hochul's pardon is really about.
President Donald Trump's Justice Department planned to make the Dominican's appeals a test case before the Supreme Court -- one likely to establish that G.M. and others like him are not entitled to a bond hearing.
Bond hearings are an easily exploited weakness in America's immigration security: They protract the legal process of deporting lawbreakers, while also giving them an opportunity to get out of detention temporarily -- and then permanently, by failing to show up when they're due for their next hearing.
G.M. came to this country legally in 2011, but he forfeited any right to remain here once he committed a felony.
Now Hochul has nullified his conviction to undercut ICE's grounds for removing him, and to collapse the appeals process that was leading to the Supreme Court -- and a probable defeat for those who want to make deportation as difficult as possible.

Republican candidate for Senator from Michigan Mike Rogers has done the unthinkable and refused a debate with radical Islamic dogslayer Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed because the "moderator" is not moderate all. She's a leftist hack with a history of open partisanship on El-Sayed's behalf.
The Republican announced he will not participate in Tuesday night's FOX 2 Detroit debate, with his campaign pointing the finger squarely at moderator Roop Raj and what it describes as Raj's demonstrated history of "bias and favoritism" toward El-Sayed.
"Michiganders deserve to see their candidates engage in a healthy, fair debate -- not one compromised by media bias," said Alyssa Brouillet, communications director in a statement. "Roop Raj has made his position clear, from praising Abdul as 'brilliant,' to being celebrated by Hasan Piker as 'my GOAT,' and bragging about his political stunts. Mike looks forward to making his case to working families and to making Abdul answer to voters for the conman he is."

Apparently suggesting that abortion is in the Bible, that transsexualism is normal and in fact needs to be celebrated, and that poverty is violence, might not resonate with Texas voters outside of his district in and around Austin.
And like all good Democrats, he is lying to the voters to get elected, then will shift to his natural stance after the election. You know, like John Cornyn did for years!
James Talarico's Lesbian Minister Just Outed Him
"He's getting some advice that I don't think he should be following." She predicted he'd drop the act the moment he's safely in office, telling the undercover journalist, "I can guarantee you that once he gets elected, he'll change his tune back to where he was."
What's interesting about this is that if the polls are to be believed, Talarico is leading Paxton, so his previous, longstanding and creepy lunacy about transsexualism and children and homosexuality should be a part of his seemingly winning platform. That he is shifting to a more Texas-friendly stance tells me that he isn't winning.
Lying to get elected certainly isn't reserved fro Democrats. The corporate wing of the Republican Party has embraced lying for generations! Run as a conservative, then vote in Congress as a squishy accomodationist who is willing to subvert the will of the voters for financial gain. Cornyn did it for years, and the fact that Texas finally got tired of his sh*t is a signal that MAGA sensibilities are becoming more popular.
What surprises me is that the Texas Democrat Party didn't dig up a moderate Democrat who could run on the archaic but successful principles that convinced America that Democrats represented the everyman. It's not true, and has never been true, but it worked for a long time, and my bet is that it would have worked in Texas against Paxton, who has shown very little skill at campaigning and communicating his platform.
But the Democrat Party has been overwhelmed by the insanity of transsexualism, DEI, Critical Race Theory, overt socialism, rejection of traditional America, and a host of other sophomoric but dangerous themes. So a traditional Democrat won't get much traction. The new Democrat Party is saying the quiet part out loud, and hopefully America is listening.

If you needed another reminder why this year’s midterm elections are so important, Barack Hussein Obama II is back to make the case: Democrats intend to seize control over artificial intelligence and shape it to their advantage. . . Obama’s not against the technological reality of artificial intelligence; he just wants to make sure Democrats are in complete control of it. This is what disciples of Big Government do: They write laws, rules, and regulations that give preferred companies monopoly power within a given industry, and in return, the corporate beneficiaries of these unfair privileges do Big Government’s bidding.This is the leftist, globalist, crony-capitalist model of governance throughout the West. The holdout juror is NOT an immigrant. According to marriage and divorce records, he married a Haitian immigrant. She was illegal. He did not know this when he married her.
He did not show his face. He is keeping to himself since his name was doxxed on X. His life has been threatened, and people have stalked his house. NBC Boston did not give you the full story.
Michael, the juror, is now divorced. He filed for divorce first. The marriage was fraudulent because she was not a citizen. When he did this, everything hit the fan. She didn't want a divorce. His ex-wife filed a counterclaim a couple of months later. He was denied his divorce petition because she was not an American citizen.
The incident with the nephew - according to the juror, there is a lot of information that many do not know. For example, the nephew is 6-foot-2, and Michael is only 5-foot-7. This obviously does not give anyone the right to hit anyone. But I think it is safe to say that we do not know all of the facts of the matter. Michael stated the truth will come out.
None of this matters when it comes to what happened in the courtroom. He filled out his paperwork appropriately. He did not lie on his paperwork. He was asked if he had ever been arrested, and he checked the box "yes" and afterward had to describe what happened.
He even took the stand, and the prosecutor asked him questions. He was questioned about his past arrest. He was then selected. I would like to make it very clear that this is something that happens with all of the potential jurors present. Which means that the jurors who have already been interviewed could have said this at any point, but they chose to keep that information from the public.
Michael told Fugitive TV that from day one, eight of the jurors automatically wanted to go for not guilty.
The eight jurors were "activists," according to Michael. He said every day they voted, and the eight who were convinced that she was not guilty were doing their best to convince the other four that she was not guilty.
At the very end, it was him and another juror. She was also voting guilty. At the last minute, she caved. He said he knew she was guilty based on the EVIDENCE.
He was open about what he believed and what he said. He said the other jurors are telling half-truths or just outright lies.
He's never been convicted of a crime. His past should not matter. He said that the entire time, his ex-wife was just trying to get status and citizenship to live in the U.S.
Michael said that the report on him that went viral, where they said they spoke with his family members, did not report exactly what was actually said. He said that the family members they spoke to were likely family members of his ex-wife, and he does not even speak with them. Therefore, they cannot know what actually happened in the jury room. Who DID NBC Boston speak with? According to Michael, it was not one of his own family members.
Michael stated that he believes he's being targeted because he is a Republican - a Black Republican with conservative values. He believes that he was on a juror panel with a large number of Democratic voters. And he knows exactly what's happening right now, and I think that you all do as well.
A Black Republican stood his ground. It is not surprising that he is now being dragged through the mud.
This is a very bad precedent for people who will serve on a jury in the future for a national case. No one wants to do this when, based on their decision that they say is based on the evidence, they are crucified online for their political beliefs. You have all seen it. You have seen the threats that I get on a daily basis. I cannot imagine what this man is going through.
But for now, I stand with the Black conservative Republican juror.

Michigan Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed in a fiery essay railed against the "breast cancer lobby" and blasted breast cancer advocacy groups for creating the impression that women were "in imminent danger" from the disease.In a 2012 essay entitled "The Pink Ribbon Lobby and Everyone Else," El-Sayed, who has a medical degree and refers to himself as "Dr. El-Sayed" in political ads, bemoaned the increase in federal funding for breast cancer research, calling it a "disturbing" trend that diverts federal funding to study other serious diseases.
The culprit, according to El-Sayed, was the all-powerful "breast cancer lobby," which he also derided as the "pink ribbon lobby," a reference to the pink ribbons that commemorate Breast Cancer Awareness Month each October.
"The breast cancer lobby has done an incredible job raising my 'awareness' of Breast Cancer," El-Sayed wrote for the 2x2 Project, a journal sponsored by Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health, where El-Sayed worked as an epidemiologist. El-Sayed noted that the George Washington Bridge in New York City was adorned with pink lights and that his alma mater's football team, the Michigan Wolverines, were decked out "in pink cleats and arm bands."
"If I weren't an epidemiologist, it would have me believing that the women around me were in imminent danger," said El-Sayed, who asserted that the significant funding for breast cancer created problems "for equity in health research allocation" by prioritizing funding for diseases that affect people with "social power and privilege."
El-Sayed's essay relied heavily on an American Sociological Review study on the lobbying of "single-disease interest groups," in particular those dedicated to fighting breast cancer and HIV/AIDS. Curiously, El-Sayed omitted HIV/AIDS organizations from his scathing analysis, even though breast cancer killed more than three times as many Americans as HIV/AIDS in 2012.
Breast cancer will afflict around 1 in 8 women in their lifetimes and is the second leading killer of women in America, after heart disease. According to one estimate, 322,000 Americans will be diagnosed with the disease this year, and 42,000 will die.
But, in recent decades, breast cancer deaths have plummeted--amid advances in detection and treatment--even as the number of cases has steadily risen.
El-Sayed's article raises questions about his current views of breast cancer research.
El-Sayed, who last year accused Elon Musk of "gutting" cancer research at the Department of Government Efficiency, has expressed interest in serving on the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, which oversees the budget for the National Institutes of Health, the main source of federal funding for disease research. Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.), a longtime El-Sayed ally, serves as ranking member of the committee. Sanders has stirred controversy in the past over his views about breast cancer, linking the disease to "inhibited sexuality" in women.
"The manner in which you bring up your daughter with regard to sexual attitudes may very well determine whether or not she will develop breast cancer, among other things," Sanders wrote in an essay that resurfaced during his 2020 presidential run. "How much guilt, nervousness have you imbued in your daughter with regard to sex?"

The FBI was told by the Crooks' family that an "anonymous donor" paid for the cremation. It's been more than two years. Why has that donor not been identified and questioned? Who was it, what was his/her motivation? What evidence was destroyed?
In fairness, some information may be interesting to the public but if investigators find that it is not germane to the case, they don't report it. They don't put people on blast unless there's a reason for it. People are always making a big deal that "Epstein witnesses" -- people who had almost no connection to Epstein except for him mentioning them in an email, or the like -- and jump to the conclusion that the FBI and DRUMPF!!! must be "protecting" these "Epstein witnesses," when the truth is they're not witnesses to anything and have been cleared by the FBI.
Obviously I don't know what's going on here and whether or not it's germane.

DHS identifies Charles as a member of the Back Block Money Gang and says he had accumulated 17 criminal convictions.His criminal history included convictions for assault and battery on a public employee, resisting arrest, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, possession with intent to distribute a Class D controlled substance, possession of controlled substances, carrying a dangerous weapon, carrying ammunition without a firearm identification card and trespassing, according to DHS.
Charles remained in federal custody for approximately 19 months after his arrest as his immigration case proceeded.

Hollywood Is Fake and Gay: Wolverine Is Gay, Green Lantern Only Got the Ring Because of White Privilege

I haven't bothered covering HBO's Lanterns show because, at this point, who cares.
The show is being run by woke clown no-talent Damon Lindeloff, who previously turned HBO's Watchmen series into hardcore racial agitprop with a pronounced black-cuck fetish. And the other show-runner is an extremely woke DEI black woman.
If you're not a comics fan, I'll explain the Green Lantern: Hal Jordan, a fearless test pilot, was chosen as the bearer of a Green Lantern ring, which confers incredible power on the user and makes the user a member of the intergalactic super-police, the Green Lantern Corps. Basically Jedis in spandex.
The Corps had previously never considered giving barbarous earthlings a power ring, but Hal Jordan was such a standout -- eventually acknowledged as the greatest Green Lantern -- that rings were given to additional earth-men, including John Stewart, a black architect.
In the new woke hard-core black supremacist version of the show, John Stewart's father was considered for the ring before Hal Jordan, but was rejected from the program. They showed him something scary and asked "Are you afraid?" He answered "Yes," and they moved on to the next candidate (Hal Jordan), because it is critical that a Lantern be fearless.
Later, the people who give out the rings, the Guardians, paid a visit to the Stewart family to make sure they were doing okay. John Stewart's mother launched into a Proud Black Woman lecture -- everyone take heed, a Black Woman is speaking and we are listening. She said to the intergalactic super-being, "How dare you ask a black man if he is afraid," because black people are permanently terrified in America, and then asserted, without contradiction, that Hal Jordan, having "white privilege," would of course not be afraid of anything so the whole game was rigged, as usual, against The Black Man.
The writers and show-runners confirmed that this was supposed to be an accurate statement about race in America. They say the want to "start conversations," but if you tell them this is nasty racialist propaganda, they'll cancel you for your racism.
Damon Lindeloff has previously shown he has some kind of gay black cuck fetish, and again shows that here. He makes a point to show John Stewart having sex with the wife of a literal white supremacist leader. And then, bizarrely, the white supremacist leader strips off his clothes and demands that John Stewart -- here an artist instead of an architect -- draw him and his naked dong. Just like the "dram me like your French girls" scene from Titanic, except gay and weird.
Oh, and the show also includes a "surprising amount of naked penises." No boobs, just dicks. Showing naked women is exploitative and low-brow, showing naked dicks every half-hour is Elevated and Artistic.

"They've spent ungodly amounts of money on Harry Potter and they plan to spend much more to promote it."

Paramount is in the middle of closing its $111 billion purchase of Warner Bros. Discovery, the deal that hands the Ellisons HBO and HBO Max.
"Keep it in mind when you see bots swarming your posts and everyone else dunking on HBO slop," the source said, referring to the bot accounts that swarm Cosmic Book News' own posts and social media whenever these shows come up. "The growing backlash to Lanterns, Potter, House of Dragon, and now Grodd got them worried."
Some of that backlash still shows up as viewership. People tune in to see the trainwreck.
The source says the studio knows that kind of watching doesn't pay.

You may remember a story from a couple of weeks ago: Comic Boon News reported, accurately, that Hal Jordan was shown dead with a bullet wound in his head in the first episode, and HBO filed a false copyright claim to suppress the story. They claimed they had a copyright over someone repeating a plot point from the show.
Meanwhile, there's a Wolverine videogame that's about to be released, and yes, it is lame and gay.
It's lame because it's not really a game. There are parts of the game that are supposed to be "Quick Time Events," a game mechanic which is ancient and considered lame already, but it's lamer still here, because the game will not let you fail these quick-time events. If you fail to push the buttons the game tells you to push, it just pushes them for you.
It's one of those "Push W to win" games, people say -- if you just hold down the "W" button to walk forward, you automatically win, because the "game" is mostly just a movie made with CGI that you watch rather than play.
And it's gay because the game's creators have decided that Wolverine's deadliest and most brutal foe, Sabertooth, is in some kind of gay chaste romance with him.
They "yearn" for each other's touch.
Sure, Sabertooth has been trying to murder Wolverine for 50 years, but beneath that, there is a tender longing and suppressed homosexual love.

Reviewer Gene Park describes a scene during an assault on a military base where Sabretooth grabs the back of Logan's head, and Park reads the moment as longing, not menace.
Insomniac says that's exactly what it is.
"Hate And Love Are So Hand In Hand"
Narrative director Walt Williams told the Post the beat is written that way on purpose.
Logan feels the pull, gets scared, and backs off. Sabretooth feels the same pull, it hurts him, and he lashes out to push that hurt onto Logan."Hate and love are so hand in hand," Williams said.
He framed the rivalry as a loop: each one wounds the other, and the shared pain is what keeps them bound together.
Williams is the writer behind Spec Ops: The Line, the 2012 shooter that doubled as a psychological thriller.
Park's takeaway is that Insomniac left room for love inside Logan's most violent relationship.
By the way, the studio that produced this employed the services of Woke Compliance Officers "Sweet Baby Inc.," who have inserted gayness and Muh Representation into dozens of games, most of which subsequently failed. FIRST ON FOX: A Democrat fundraising giant used by the biggest players on the left is being accused of covering up the acceptance of fraudulent political donations and lying to Congress about its security standards.
Congressional Republicans are providing an update on their investigation of ActBlue -- a platform for campaigns to raise money that's used by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed, and the Democratic leaders of the House and Senate, among others -- that alleges the company potentially accepted foreign contributions and concealed the evidence from the GOP's probe.
ActBlue has previously denied any wrongdoing.
"The Committees' oversight has found that ActBlue, in its own words, decided to take 'a more lenient approach' to fraud prevention in 2024, weakening its fraud-prevention policies at least twice even though internal assessments showed that these changes would result in a measurable increase in fraudulent contributions," the report said, citing an ActBlue staff report.
"Similarly, internal trainings directed ActBlue's fraud prevention team to 'look for reasons to accept contributions' rather than to examine them closely for indicators of fraud -- as required by federal regulation. ActBlue took this lax approach to fraud prevention even though it had detected at least 22 significant fraud campaigns on the platform in recent years, including several from foreign sources."
Republicans accused ActBlue of accepting "illegal foreign political donations" and the "subsequent cover-up" of that information.
If you remember, ActBlue deliberately disabled its billing software's zip code check, so that foreigners could donate to Barack Obama without the system flagging these illegal donations.
They're now running a similar gain. Federal law requires a passport number be included by people donating from overseas.
ActBlue deliberately crippled its own system. Instead of actually checking if these were valid passport numbers belonging to US citizens entitled to donate to American politicians, ActBlue's system only checked if the string of numbers had the right number of numbers in it.
As an example,Mb< the report cited a letter by ActBlue CEO Regina Wallace-Jones to Committee on House Administration Chairman Bryan Steil, R-Wis., which maintained that donations on the platform made by people with addresses outside the U.S. required a passport number for verification.
But Republicans alleged that the verification "only ensures that the entered passport number contains a certain number of characters, not that it is a valid U.S. passport number," rendering it an essentially meaningless step.
They consider it a minor detail not worth looking into when an online donation comes from communist China:
The report also included excerpts purporting to show ActBlue supervisors green-lighting donations despite "red flags," including a memo lauding a donation as a "great accept" but noting, "Donor sometimes has an IP in Hong Kong, but none of their other signals raise any eyebrows."
Another communication appears to show an ActBlue supervisor maintaining that a denied contribution "should have been accepted." The rest of the memo stated, "It is a foreign contribution, but the name/email match, the IP/billing match, a full address with the correct country code, and there were previously accepted and successful contributions."
"The donor uses an Arkansas state code, which isn't great, but [the] system can be wonky with requiring state codes for foreign donors," the rest of the message stated.
An ActBlue supervisor also allegedly said a contribution "set off a lot of" alarms, but argued the donor should be given the "benefit of the doubt."
