Mohammed Abbassa, Professor of Comparative Literature, taught at the University of Mostaganem from 1987 to 2025. I am pleased to share with you, through this website, a collection of articles and research I have published in the field of comparative literary studies, particularly on the relationship between Andalusian Arabic literature and the literature of the troubadour poets of Provence, as well as research related to translation, Sufism, and everything concerning the history of Arab-Islamic civilization.

محمد عباسة، أستاذ الأدب المقارن، قام بالتدريس في جامعة مستغانم من عام 1987 حتى عام 2025. ويسرني أن أشارككم عبر هذا الموقع مجموعة من المقالات والأبحاث التي نشرتها في مجال الدراسات الأدبية المقارنة، ولا سيما حول العلاقة بين الأدب العربي الأندلسي وأدب شعراء التروبادور في البروفانس، بالإضافة إلى أبحاث تتعلق بالترجمة والتصوف، وكل ما يتصل بتاريخ الحضارة العربية الإسلامية.

Licence lettres option linguistique, Université d’Oran (1976 – 1980).
Magistère en littérature comparée, Université de Bagdad – Irak (1980 – 1984).
Doctorat d’état en littérature comparée, Fac centrale d’Alger (1990 – 1996).

Born in 1955 in Sour (Bellevue), Mostaganem.
Professor of comparative literature at the Faculty of Letters and Arts of the University of Mostaganem from 1987 to 2025.
Degrees obtained:
Bachelor of Arts with a specialization in Linguistics, University of Oran (1976–1980).
Master’s degree in Comparative Literature, University of Baghdad, Iraq (1980–1984).
Doctorate in Comparative Literature, Central Faculty of Algiers (1990–1996).
