Lewis and Clark Caverns

June 19, 2015
The week after graduation, Kevin and Marianne went on a trip, and my parents came up to hold down the fort. We had a great time hanging out with Kevin's kids all week and spent the weekend touring Lewis and Clark Caverns. I have never had a kid afraid of the cave before, but poor Rhee was terrified. She was a good sport though and by the end was smiling. We spent the rest of the weekend bowling, (we are all terrible bowlers except Cy and Grandpa), playing at Spring Meadow Park, and having movie parties. It was a great week spent with cousins and grandparents.

Jordyn's Graduation

June 9, 2015
I am so proud of this daughter of mine. She is so amazing. She has been such a great sister and daughter this last six months. I have been gone a lot and Jordyn has helped fill the gaps with grace. She is going to make a great mom someday, but in the meantime, she is such an amazing friend. She is such a beautiful girl.  I am so proud of her. I can't imagine this family without her. Congratulations Jo! I am so proud of you.  I love you! Don't be in too big of a hurry to grow up. You are amazing enough, and should be able to be a kid for as long as you can. Also, it is true, converse do go with everything.

Rhee's Kindergarten Graduation

June 9, 2015
Rhee is such a great kid. It was so much fun to go to her kindergarten graduation. I am amazed at how much she has grown this last year. Rhee got the Awesome Artist award because she truly  enjoys art and loves filling books and books with her drawings. My parents just repainted the walls in her room while I was in Seattle, so hopefully she be content to paint and color in a journal instead of the walls. She has such a great imagination and is so creative. She is such an amazing kid. I love you Rhee and I am so proud of you!

Seattle Trip

May 20,2015
The pediatric dental convention was is Seattle this year, so my parents came up to Helena to watch the kids for a long weekend. I headed up to Seattle to learn a lot, play in one of my favorite cities, and get to know some of my coworkers better. I went with Dava, Kristine, and Gina. We had a blast in the Emerald City. We were able to go to Pike's Market. the Space Needle, the EMP Museum, and the huge Farris Wheel. We ate at great places and just did a lot of exploring of this great city. I have to bring my kids back here next summer for vacation. I love this place. We had a fantastic time, became better friends, and were able to learn things that should help make the office run smoother. Thanks Kevin for taking us, and thanks mom and dad for watching the monsters. Brooklynn loves having tea parties with her grandma.

Cyruss is home!

April 12, 2015
Cy is on a plane home! I can't believe how great this kid looks. I am so grateful for all the love and support we have had over these rough last 6 months. He is feeling great and doing great. He will still need to stay away from crowds and be careful what he eats, but we don't have to go back to PCH for two months. Kevin was in Utah for a dental convention, so he is on the same flight back as Cy. Best Day Ever! Welcome Home Cy! We all love you so much and are so proud of you!

Michael's Ninth Birthday

April 11, 2015
We celebrated Michael's birthday the weekend before Cy was able to come home. We spent the morning at Exploration Works. It is a great children's science museum and has so many cool things for the kids to explore. Then we went swimming at the YMCA. My kids all love to swim. Finally, we went to the Carousel for birthday ice cream. The little kids had a great time riding the carousel. Poor Jo was a good sport. We headed back to the house to veg on pizza, play xbox, and watch movies. Michael had a great birthday and it was fun to spend the day doing all the things he really loves to do.
