New Mom of 4!

Well our twins arrived on August 19th 2012 (5 weeks early). We named them Campbell Afton & Cooper Prince Bulkley. They are such a handful and we are sleep deprived but they are so much fun and have filled our home with pure joy! Our family feels complete and we are overwhelmed with the love and support from all our family, neighbors and dear friends who have brought thoughtful gifts, meals and have taken time to visit us or care for our older children. We feel so blessed that they were able to come home from the NICU in only 4 days. It was quite the experience. More posts to come detailing the labor and delivery.... Love, Wendi

We're Having Twins!

We are so excited. We just found out we are having twins! I am a little over 3 months and we find out what we are having next month. The babies are doing great with good fast heartbeats. This is a HUGE miracle. We have been trying for the past few years and we have had a couple of miscarriages. We found out that on my dad's side we have 5 sets of twins (Wade & Garrett Prince, Liz & Steven Glauser and then 3 of my cousins have Dave Larsen, Jacey Cooper and Nikki Baker all of have twins. So crazy! I filmed this little video clip on my iphone when we first announced our news to the kids. They are hilarious to watch. Bailey wants a boy and a girl (one of each) and Boston of course wants two boys! I've been pretty sick the past few months but I'm starting to feel better. Domestic Lesson #2

This weekend my Mom taught me how to can apple sauce. We did 2 bushels of apples. We got them for $0.89 a pound and it made about 21 jars of yummy cinnamon apple sauce. Then, she taught me how to tie a quilt and we had my kids make bean bags. She truly is super mom. Then we ended up hemming my long jeans. I can't believe how much I did not pay attention when I was younger. I should know these basics. Now I have to re-learn. :(

Feeling Domestic!

I canned tomatoes last weekend with my mom and this weekend Jake and I planted trees in our new backyard. We even picked up some fruit trees. I am so excited! Here is a picture of Bailey and Boston at Star Nursery riding in the wagon helping us pick out trees. They of course had to pick out a pumpkin while we were there. :) Happy Fall to ALL! Hello Kitty Cupcake Suckers

My mom is amazing! She found the most darling recipie for Hello Kitty cake suckers! They taste just like Rachel Ray's Cake Bites from the Sweet Tooth Fairy! You mix together any kind of cake and frosting and then roll into balls and then put in the fridge then you dip them in white chocolate (use choc chips for the ears) and then decorate with sprinkles! Super cute & way yummy! Bailey had a blast decorating them.

Day in Vegas

We had a free weekend so we decided to "hop" in the car and drive down to Vegas. We took the kids to see the M&M Factory, Coca Cola Factory, the lion exhibits at the MGM & the Mermaids at the Silverton.. Super Fun! Grandma came along. We had an absolute blast. Bailey got pics with Hello Kitty, The Coca Cola Bear, & the M&M's!

AIRPLANE RIDE!!!

So a friend in our ward (Kurt Shaddock) took us up in his plan on Saturday and Jake & I both got to fly his 4 seater, one engine plane. IT WAS AMAZING! The kids absolutely loved it. Bailey was a hoot when we did a few sharp turns and stunts. She would laugh, Boston looked like he was going to throw up :) but overall they had a GREAT TIME! Jake was like a kid at Christmas. It made our whole year! Thank you Kurt!!!
