2-1-18. Jamison was able to skip school and shadow a few 6th graders at her middle school. I can not wait for Jamison to be done with 5th grade. She has had a rough year to put it lightly. I know that 6th grade, middle school in general, is hard. But, it will be novel and different for awhile. We are in countdown mode over here and I am excited for her to move along. I am sure most 5th graders feel this way. Here she is with her beautiful friend Bella.
2-1-2018. Our stake recognized all of the young women who earned their YW recognition award and all the young men who earned their Duty to God and/or their Eagle Scout during 2017. It was a wonderful dinner and evening. I am so proud of Bradley and his peers. They are a good group of people.
Here is Bishop Welch with the youth from our ward. Way to go. These 5 kids are awesome. Pretty awesome Bishop too!
Stop growing Bradley. That's enough.
2-1-2018. Jamison put together a beautiful project on Australia, turned it in 2 days early and promptly had it sent home because the pictures were not hand drawn. Not one time on the rubric did it say "hand drawn" and when I questioned the teacher she said, "Well, it was a given." Did I mention we are done with 5th grade?
2-1-2018. Traffic was so tight he fell asleep.
2-2-2018. He thought it was so funny "driving" the car. He is so dang cute.
2-4-2018. We had dinner with the Grants. We love the Grants. They are a wonderful family. Each of the kids shared a short musical talent. It was a fun night.
2-4-2018. Noah is 11! It's hard to believe. He is growing up way to fast just like the rest of them. Noah is such a sweet, funny boy. We sure love him.
2-5-2018. Naps have been a thing of the past for Levi for awhile now, but a few times a month he comes home from his little preschool and crashes. He is such a sweetie.
2-6-2018. New First Presidency announced to the world. I am so excited to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I love these men, their testimony, their light, their example and their love of the Savior. We are in good hands.
2-6-2018. This was hilarious. Jude was dead asleep.
2-12-2018. Stick pull for FHE.
2-15-2018. The kids worked their little tails off in the front yard all day long. It was much needed and I am so grateful for their help. I am not a big fan of yard work. I am grateful for a husband and children who help out.
2-16-2018. We helped put some new baseboards in at Anthony's parents house. Conley was the best one for this section. It was a tight squeeze.
2-17-2018. We participated in a photo shoot months ago at the Children's Discovery Museum. It is so fun seeing my kids and nieces pop up on FB and Instagram. This is Jude. I love this picture.
2-18-2018. Just another Sunday. I still can't believe how many people can fit on that couch. It's a giant.
2-18-2018. Sick, sick, sick.
Sometimes when they're sick, moms secretly love it. Can you see why?
2-21-2018. Conley got "it" a few days later.
So did Jamison. They both missed school.
Whatever sickness they had was tougher on Levi than on anyone else. He got hit hard and took the longest to recover. Poor guy.
And, to finish, here are a few videos from the month. Here you'll see Cora entertaining us though unaware, Bradley singing the National Anthem with Madrigals, Jude laughing in his sleep (so hilarious,) a bunny visiting our neighborhood, Anthony entertaining the kids in a unconventional way, Anthony getting his Cuban groove on, Jude singing "The Greatest Showman" and finally Levi singing his version of Jingle Bells. Enjoy!
