I have tried a couple of Sampar products through this blog, and I actually like them because they seem to always bring great results and actually really does what they acclaimed for. 

For instance, this newest Sampar product that was sent to me. It's called Prodigal Pen. And it is my current number one weapon to fight acne and blemishes ^__^

So let's meet Sampar prodigal Pen. 

It is an anti-blemish roll on pen that has 8 essential oils in it: cinnamon, lavender, savory, thyme, oregano, rosemary, cloves, sage) that helps eliminate blemishes, leaving no trace behind. This powerful little roll-on zeroes in on targeted zones to clear and alleviate irritations. 

 

I have a combination oily skin with occasional acne and blemishes. This product couldn't have arrived at the right time because I was having a huge pimple when this package arrived on my door. What a great coincidence!

I read the pamphlet thoroughly and decided to try it at that moment. Straight goes into the huge pimple. The next morning, my humongous pimple was flat. Holy cow!

I was so awed by the result because I only just used this roll-on pen twice that day, and by the next morning the bump was gone, and although the pimple is still there but it is now flat so it's less noticeable. 

This Prodigal Pen definitely reduce the size of the pimple and made the irritation calmed down. According to the pamphlet you can apply this Prodigal pen 4 to 5 times a day on targeted spots, but on my first experience it already showed results with just 2 times of use. 

So from now on I am vouching for this product and would recommend it to those who seeks for a fast-acting formula to fight blemishes. This is definitely a trustworthy ailment to heal pimples. I know Sampar products can be quite expensive, but if they works then I'd say the price is worth it, don't you think so?

The roll-on pen looks like the photo above, and it have a distinctive herbal aroma because it is made from herbal essential oils. The scent doesn't put me off because it is not that strong, and it reminds me of traditional herbs, which is fine by me. The roll-on surface feels cool on the skin, combined with natural essential oils as the ingredients it would definitely calm your blemishes once you apply this Prodigal Pen to those pesky spots.

It comes in a 6ml roll-on pen just like above, but I think it contain much product in it so it's definitely for a long run. The small and simple packaging also makes this product easy to carry on your makeup bag for those days when you have a skin break-out and need to apply this 4 - 5 times a day. I'd say if you have the money, there's nothing wrong to try it out.

After trying on their Glamour Shot and Glamour Shot Eyes a while ago -(which I gave a thumbs up!), I received another samples to try from Sampar. This time it's their Vivid Radiance Serum.

I was sent a couple of these mini serums so I was able to try it for more than a week so that I can make a proper review for you guys.

First of all, this Sampar Vivid Radiance Serum is a powerful antidote to unwanted signs of aging. It is a face serum that improves the firmness of skin as well as tones the skin. This serum also restore and preserve our youth, and is suitable for all skin types.

Sounds like a pretty amazing serum, right?

You use this serum twice a day, morning and night. I applied it to my face and neck after cleansing it and before I put on my moisturizer. I personally like using this serum in the morning or while I'm getting ready to go out because I found this serum really makes a difference on my skin right after I used it (more on this later, please read on ;p).

I really like Sampar products because even though they are very pricey but they do give best results. So you get a good quality over the price. I haven't tried that many Sampar products but the ones that I have tried really works wonderfully fine for me.

Now let's talk about the texture of this serum. The formula of this Vivid Radiance Serum is like a light lotion, it's very light and thin, and will absorb quickly to the skin. I love serums that seeps in fast to the skin because that means I don't need extra time in the morning just to wait for my serum to sink in. 

The real color of the serum is a beige/creme-ish color, but when applied to the skin it goes on clear and transparent. It also doesn't feel oily or thick on the skin, and would not leave any residue at all on the surface of skin.

I didn't really noticed it at first but I took some pictures of my face when I used it, and when I compared the photos with my other photos of when I didn't used the serum I can really see a difference, apparently it has some kind of brightening effect! 

Although the description of this serum doesn't include an instant brightening effect but I somehow experienced it. On days when I used this serum my face appears much brighter and full of radiance especially when I wear makeup afterwards. Usually my face would not shine that bright even after layers of makeup, so this Vivid Radiance Serum does really makes a difference!

I hope you can see the difference from the BEFORE and AFTER photo above. My skin on the left side of my arms looks a little bit brighter than the one on the right. Well the radiant effect looks more noticeable on my face.

Overall, I really like this serum because it makes my skin smoother and my makeup glides on easily, and although it's not on the description but this serum also brightens up my face and gives an overall radiant look to my skin especially when I wear makeup. I also believe that this serum has a long-term effect specifically in fighting early signs of skin aging. 

I always use this serum nowadays because I really like the final result. I would surely use this serum on the coming Eid day! :D

Although I've heard of Sampar before but I haven't tried any Sampar products because they are on the expensive side, so when I received these samples from Sampar I was excited to try them out.

This product is to be used after moisturizer and before applying a powder/liquid foundation. You should wait until it's fully absorbed by your skin before adding any foundation though.. According to the booklet you could also apply this product at any time of the day over makeup.

I received a few sample tubes of this product and has been using it a couple of times. I love the pink/white packaging, and the texture of the product itself is a creamy lotion that goes on clear and will be fully absorbed by the skin.

I've tried using a BB Cream after applying this product but somehow the BB cream won't stick to my skin resulting in ugly patches, so I guess this is not suitable to be used with BB creams.

I did tried putting on some loose powder and/or finishing powder on top of this product and the result is excellent. My face has smoother and brighter complexion without any of the heavy duty makeup base. I love it. You can see it from the photos below:

On the "After" photo I didn't wear anything except for moisturizer + Glamour Shot.

With full makeup:

 I only wear moisturizer + Glamour Shot + Loose Powder as a base, 

and look how smooth looking the skin is ;)

Another brilliant product from the Glamour Shot range is the Glamour Shot Eyes.
Within 1 minute it can instantly erase dark circles, blurs under eye wrinkles and fine lines, and brightens the dark area around the eyes, all the while providing a long lasting anti wrinkle action.

According to the booklet, 77% of users agreed that dark circles were reduced immediately after application. And I can say that I also agree with those users ;)

I got the sample size and the mini tube has a doe foot applicator that makes it easier to use. You just apply the product with this applicator right underneath the eyes. You put this as an under-eye concealer (after moisturizer).

You can also see the texture from the photo below, it will be totally absorbed by your skin in one minute:

 

I have insomnia so at most time I can only sleep at dawn. Therefore it always creates puffy eyes and dark circles underneath my eyes everytime I wake up. I was pessimistic at first, because I've tried lots of products to reduce puffy eyes and dark circles but still haven't found one that can really stands out. But after trying the Glamour Shot Eyes for the first time, I was totally hooked.

Just remember that you should wait 5 minutes after application before putting on makeup. The end results are pretty great.

Although it can't fully erase my heavy puffy eyes, but it can totally reduce it. My dark circles also reduced heavily thanks to this product. You can see it from the pictures below how the Glamour Shot Eyes works on my flaws:

In the "Before" photo you can see that I have huge swollen eyes on my right eye and a deep dark circles on my left eye.

I hope you can see that my heavy puffed right eye is noticeably less swollen, and that the deep dark circles underneath my left eye is gone :)

Overall, I am satisfied with the Glamour Shot range and would recommend it to anyone who wants to try it. It does gives instant results without all the hassle, and it also gives benefits for the skin if used continuously.
